Thunder PX I didn't mean that second link you gave me in your second post I meant that very first link you gave me. and I quote you on your first post : I'd link you to Sprites HQ, but it seems to be down at the moment. Ren's Comic Zone has some though.
I did not want to go to this site because they don't have what I'm looking for plus the site looks pretty crappy plus its a complete waste of my time.....

Whoops, looks like they do have the Ultimate Armor. If you rip the sprites, this is your result. Guess what, you still have to recolor it yourself. |

I began ripping PS sprites a few weeks ago, and PS emulation doesn't have background layers - there are even no real sprites. Ripping is not hard at all (at least if you use ePSXe and Pete's video plugin), but only time-consuming.

There are some nasty errors, I could fix the character shadow if I was not that lazy, but Surt's sword really was a pain in the ass, especially if the background is nearly the same as the sword's graphics. I have to cut out the sword by hand: http://mitglied.lycos.de/mithrandir21/itsapainintheass.jpg
And Surt is a boss and he _doesn't_ reappear somewhere else (like having a mono-colourd background), an example is the floor in the Seraphic Gate here. |

Well, they're basically the ripped sprites so I don't really see the differences.  Sprites HQ is down like I said, but the URL used to be here. So try the link in my other post. If you can't find it, click on Sprites at the top, and then pick Rockman (obviously ) |

Sorry to ask but this has been buggin the hell out of me over the pass 2 1/2 years.
I don't know to rip megaman x sprites from the psx series. don't get me wrong I know to rip sprites from 6 different emulators that I use but the psx emulator I am using in the past did not have a option for eliminating the background in the games this was the main problem because the background would always be in the freaking way . This time around I am not using a emulator to play the PSX game on my PC, instead I am going to use my TV-TUNER card to play it that way, plus its a hell of alot faster and more precise then a psx emulator.
Is there anybody who can teach me to rip PSX megaman x sprites properly ? |
