There's no reason it *can't* happen but it probably won't, nor should.

I hate Bush and his policies...But seriously. Violence. Yucky. Especially while the military is basically all away and the world is looking with angry eyes at America...

Um, yeah... if there was a military rebellion we'd be under martial law, and it would basically would be a coup. Much like the bloody ones you hear about in Africa all the time. I don't want to dream of that. I don't want it to come to that. if you do you're a fool.

I think we're being a bit pessimistic here. It will eventually happen, not nearly as smooth as we wanted to and not worth the price we've paid because of it, but eventually we'll get there.

As for Donald Rumsfeld? Worst SECDEF of all time. Seriously.

"Bush facing an officers' rebellion in the military? We can dream, can't we?"

It's not going to happen. And besides, what do you mean we can "dream"? That would be horrible to this nation.

Its not like that oil is going to make much of a difference if China keep's putting pressure on oil companys.

The U.S. has become a nation of whores, our companys are selling themselves left and right. I dont think we'll ever be taken over militarily, we'll probably get bought under our feet...

On the topic though, I do think the generals (and a huge portion of the population) realizes how much of a BS war this is. We dont even have enough troops there to accomplish the goal. If your going to push for that war atleast make appropiate actions to finish the job. When nothing changes and we are finnaly out all we are going to have is American men and women who died in vain. The generals realize this, therefor they disagree

I saw a former general on CNN completely calling out the President. It was a sight to be seen, I couldnt believe it. Even people who are out of the military usually dont say what they think, this guy wasnt holding anything back. His main argument was how Bush and Rumsfeld have no clue how to organize a military into getting a goal accomplish.

Meh, you might change the words the Iraqi's say. You might give them better houses and a false sense of being represented by their government, but they'll still think the same. The idea of a democracy in Iraq is a far-fetched dream.

This war have nothing moral in it, It just because Irak is the oil producing land that export less oil to USA(About 6%) so the only way to get this oil is war

That would probably be a bad thing. Destabilizing the military structure, therefore the American political system, during a war is probably a very bad idea.

My opinion of this is that if generals started marching against the president, that would set a very bad precedent, even though I am opposed to the war and think the president is a war criminal.
