Going from wireless network card to wireless network card isn't possible, AFAIK. It's like trying to go from a cell phone to another cell phone without a tower.
You're best off getting a router. Even if you CAN use the desktop to bridge the connections, you're going to be dealing with serious lag. |

WinXP can bridge two network cards on the same machine...
You have to select to active network connections, right click on them, and select Bridge Connection. |

Basically, I'm wondering if it's possible to connect to the internet like:
My laptop's network card -> my desktop's network card -> ethernet -> cable modem.
I haven't found any information regarding this. ;( |
