First of all Apophis, i am not an idiot. why would i move the site? next, i am sorry for saying i have started Mario Quest. what i meant Disch said. fourth I have much inspiration for this. Weasel gave me notes for it and i plan to finish his idea. with only one change. a bob-omb for level 1 not bowser.

Its funny you should mention that. PSVRender.dll is about 5 code generations removed from Yousei's FF3 Editor. It was not even remotely the same code by the time I started on the first release of Peer Sprite Viewer, but that is where it originated.

Starting fresh is always a nice idea. The rom I was using when I started this hack had a lot of garbage. Like the tileset for the towns and overworld. You should see the magic list I made

Chickenlump is right. Maybe starting on a new rom would be easier. You can incorporate your own ideas into it.

Hmmm, since Weasel abandoned this, I might abandon mine and take the Mario graphics...

No, that would be cheap. I'll just continue mine AND this one. XD

Any-hoo, too bad the hack will never be finished properly. Although it may be finished, it won't be the same, cause it won't have the same vision driving it.

XcomGS, It may seem like it will be easy, but I'm sure you'll find that picking up a hack mid-way will be harder on you in the long run. It's easier to start fresh, since your not starting fresh, I'm pretty sure you'll have a harder time. I'm kind of reminded of the FF3 editor, by Yousei, going open source for everyone to continue. Not much came of that, probably because people wouldn't know where to begin.

So, your motto is "no hack should be left unfinished", eh? What about the countless other hacks that haven't been finished? I think you're making up excuses to take other people's work and sound heroic about it... but that's just me.

Holy way to overexaggerate. You should have seen the crap on #rom-hacking about it, too

It was a simple typo, I'm sure. "I have started Mario Quest" I took to mean "I have started ON Mario Quest"*.. .which is what he was trying to say. Lighten up, yokels

*on as in starting work on... since he is starting his own work on Mario quest. Which is not to say he started Mario quest.

Just... wow.

First time see someone take the fame for a hack. Then they post to the real hacker's site.

BTW, what's the point with this thread?

The idiot didn't even bother moving it to another site. That link goes directly to your site, Weasel!

Whoa, red flag.

You did not start this hack. I did. Fix that.
