I saw the movie two days ago. It is extremely awesome. There are tons of really cool fairy-tale elements, and just about every single fairy tale you can think of is used in this movie. I highly recommend it if you like a good action movie that turns kiddie stories into a more mature-aimed development.

Spoiler:
The one part I could have done without is when a little white kitten gets shredded by a torture device. However, when the child gets eaten by the horse, I couldn't help but say "SWEET!" My date's friend ended up getting mad at me

EDIT: Stupid spoiler tag wouldn't work at first. Sorry if anyone saw my post without it!

OMFG! You knit Taryn?!

Anyways I found two people to go with me to see it yesturday(saturday). I liked it and it was pretty different than what I'm used to in a film. I thought they actually did a good job to incorperate the different stories into the movie.

I saw it tonight, it was a pretty decent film, nothing spectacular, but still a good watch. I liked it a lot better than that borefest known as "Episode III" though.

Spoiler:
The gingerbread man was friggin' awesome.

The idea is that two fairy tale writers somehow end up in a world where the kind of stuff they write about is real.

Uh, as far as I know, the Grimm brothers didn't write any of the fairytales, they merely collected a bunch of German folklore and published it, popularizing the stories. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

That is to say, they wrote about stories already told. I don't know if they changed any of them.

Anyway, the trailer looked kind of interesting. I don't think I'll go see it, though. I'll wait for it to come to DVD and maybe I'll rent it.

This looks really neat. From what I've seen, it'll be a good adventure movie, and I love those. The monsters look pretty tight too.

Basically, all fairy tales are foreign

This movie is one of the few movies lately that's interested me (besides Fantastic 4 and Batman Begins, even though I only saw Batman Begins).

I'm looking forward to this movie. I think Terry Gilliam will do a great job with the subject matter and it'll hopefully be fun to watch.

I have to say that this movie looks good and if I find people to go with me when it comes out (besides my mom and/or dad) I'll go watch it.

I think he was making a Monty Python connection.

I finally saw a trailer for it just now and I must say, it looks pretty good. Terry Gilliam is directing it. (Yep, the Monty Python one.)

It stars Matt Damon and Heath Ledger and is coming out over here on the 26th I believe. Anyone else excited to see this?
