I think that if people are going to post their hacks and/or utilities, they should follow up with a comment that gives some info on the hack/utility, and screenshots.
Sure, this info might be available in the ROM Hacking forum, but not everyone, myself included, goes there. I'd rather come here, and see what's available, rather than wade through tons of posts that may or may not have information, screens, etc. |

There was a dummy file available for download but apparently people think that I had something super-special to download here. :\
You can close a post to keep the comment thread alive but remove the download. |

OK guys, I think you need a little heads up as to what this forum is for... It's a hacks and utilities forum. Hacks are more than welcome. Utilities are welcome. Anything that you think might be useful in that domain is likely welcome as well. However...
- We DON'T need emulators uploaded. Exceptions to the rule would be an emulator that you developed or made a different version of for some reason. Stuff like ZSNES, VBA, etc. isn't needed because you can get those ANYWHERE on the net and it just wastes server space.
- If you comment on a file, don't just say something like "This file is good. 8/10." Either elaborate on why you think the file is good/bad, or just rate it and don't post if you don't have anything constructive to say.
More stuff will be added over time but I just needed to point those things out since the forum's been active already. If you end up breaking these rules from now on, you'll be warned and could be forum banned from the Commons. Yes, that's possible. |
