SMW don't use midi or mp3 for the level, aren't you trying to start a rumor

Your right SMWFreak. You can edit the music. We have the program to do it, you can even import MP3s into the rom. We arent gonna let you have it though. We just pass it around on AIM. Although we will never let you use it, I can assure you it is amazing. |

Yes, that's what we've been telling you, base your hack off DW3, and you can get SMB3 music. But it's not that easy - no no, not that easy at all. If I'm correct, I think it requires a lot of ASM hacking - and I don't think you're ready for that if you just started - heck, most of the people on the board don't even know how, so they just use the BGs and stuff that other people make. That's what you should probably do too.
But that's just my suggestion. You can try, but it will be hard. |

(2. Those hacks were made from Bouche's hack of Demo World. Mabe you should base your hack on that?
(3 & 4. I suggest you use peter ac's SMW graphics remake hack. It has YI backgrounds....
(5. What you don't understand about it?
I also suggest instead of you rushing into ExGFX's, you should just work on original SMW graphics first since thier easier to work with now and it seens to be your first hack. Make your levels and stuff first, then go back and learn/add ExGFX's. That's how I learn.

You can BASE your hack off of other hacks, like DW:TLC, but if you can put any music in your hack, oh yeah, WITHOUT ASM, tell us, and we will shower you with fortune and glory - but I think you lose there.
And you said you wanted a tutorial on Lunar Magic? Open lunar magic, go to Help -> Contents. There you go! |
