I just thought back when I first used Blocktool in 2002. I simply didn't know why it didn't work and realized, that I forgot to open the ROM first in Blocktool. It sounds stupid, but this can happen easily

About that,

Close and then re-open LM. Go to the page and block area with the number you used. That tile now has the properties (or should) of the block you inserted.

I always thought it was a fault of my (old) computer, because all inserted custom blocks didn't show up in the map16 area until I reloaded Lunar Magic. At least I know it is just normal to do that

"?" doesn't tell us anything. What exactly didn't you understand?

Also, that description should be pretty easy to understand...

You get out LM, BT, and a calculator (windows calc is great).

Go to a Map16 page in LM. Hold your mouse over a square and note the numbers that show up at the bottom of the 16x16 editor screen. For this example I will use 0x3D2. That is a tile on the 4th (?) Map16 page.

Now open CALC and go to the hex mode. Type in 3D2 (or what ever numbers you had on the Map16 page). Now click on the DECIMAL mode. You will notice the number change to 978. This is the number that BT needs.

Open BT and select your ROM. Now select the block you want. Type in that number. Save.

Close and then re-open LM. Go to the page and block area with the number you used. That tile now has the properties (or should) of the block you inserted.

Remember to make backups of your game doing things like this. Also, to many blocks causes slow down.

Ii hope this helps. Post if you need more help or don't understand something.
