It errors out for me, first it pops open the "Setdisplaymode" box, then the "DDERR Unsupported" box, then closes.

Yes, I figured that out after a while. Takes some time getting something you want, usually the results can end up looking a bit too particle-esque. |

Very nice! This will come in handy for my game! Thanks for showing this btw... And look at the Read-me file, just push enter to render a random explosion.
Okay, you see a data folder? Open that file with notepad and edit what's in it. Experiment with the variables and press enter to see what you get! |

Here is a neat little tool I stumbled upon which generates 2D explosions suitable for amateur developers and artists: http://www.geocities.com/starlinesinc/
Only problem is it will not run properly on my computer... I get a black window which disables the mouse while it's active. Are you getting the same issue? |
