Yeah, I wonder hwere MvC is too. The last boss is a bitch to beat if you donĀ“t use a fast character.
I canĀ“t vote on this if not multi-voting is enabled. I like many fighting games.
Virtua Fighter brings back good memories. It was a little too easy, though.
Streetfighter II is also good.
Sould Calibur is one of the best fighting game series.
Tekken is decent. HavenĀ“t play it that much, though.
Ah, Brutalaws of Fury. I remember when I played that. Pretty fun.
Killer Instinct is awesome.
Destrega. At least it was fun when I played it in a store. That game is pretty unknown around here.
I can make the list much longer if I want to but I think this is enough. |

WHERE THE HELL IS MARVEL VS. CAPCOM?
And Phil, I added Guilty Gear just for you.
As for Tekken, I find it boring, slow, and pointless. I DID, however, enjoy Rival Schools immensely.
And what about Star Wars: Masters of the Teras Kasi? Or Kung Fu? Or Rise of the Dragon? Or Shaq Fu? Or Pit Fighter? Or Brutal: Paws of Fury? Or Bloody Roar? Or Fighter Maker? Or Tobal (actually, Tobal was pretty friggin good)? Or Ergheiz? Or Sonic Battle? Or Capcom vs. X-Men?
And the list goes on.... |

It was all about Lee man.
My friend and I ... man, we had legendary matches. Lee (myself) vs Paul (my friend). Sure, I had the upper hand with speed and quick combos on him, but man he was good at countering, grabbing, dodging, and everything.
The good ol' days. |

Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand the Virtue Fighter series ...
And, [readies his weapons] I don't see what's so great about the Dead or Alive games. Like my friend said it best, you're better off just watching a censored Girls Gone Wild commercial, that's shown a lot at night.
Tekken, is truly my love when it comes to 3D fighters. But maybe it's just nostaglic on my part? I grew up playing the Tekken series on the PSX, and when Tekken 3 came out I absolutely loved it.
I STILL am dying to play Tekken 5, and buy it for that matter. Since it's gotten great reviews, looks way better than 4 (which I didn't really like) and comes with 1-3, and that side game with Jin. |

I remember playing Vitrua Fighter at the arcade and kicking major ass!!
Fighting Vipers was also a good game, but they really didn't go that far with the series.
Street Fighter; yea, classic shit, but I just really couldn't get into this series as much as I should have,
I love the Tekken series, but 5 sorta killed it for me. Give me Tekken 4 and I'll be happy.
Now, Soul Calibur, ZOMG! amazing!! Dreamcast days and so on, I would have to say that this is my fave fighting series. Especially with the newest one coming out soon; customize!! Sweet. |

Yeah, third strikes pretty sweet. And for all you who still think Ryu owns, let me put it this way, back in the day, that's all I used, but when I figured out how to use Guile, hot damn, that mofo can tear it up, as can vega when you get good with him. But that took a lot of practice for me. Basically, anyone with suplexes is my man. |

SMASH BROTHERS IS NOT A FUCKING FIGHTING GAME.
With that siad, this thread fails, not only does the creator hate rival schools, he also did not include guilty gear on the poll, which is an automatica fail.
Its hard for me to pick really. Although i will say, The Rumble Fish series is suprisngly good. As for this poll, i would have to say SF or KoF. Capcom vs snk 2 is awesome, and the same can be said for third strike.
dammit i hope 3rd strike becomes emulable soon, i wanna own you guys |

Pound for pound, you can't get better than Street Fighter. It's still fun to Hadoken and Cannon Spike anything you can find.

Last time I checked, this was about favorites, not best of all time. If it was, this point would have MUCH more weight. Yes, it did begin it's slow decent at MK3, even WITH the inclusion of Kabal, and remained pretty crappy for sometime after that, weakening the franchise's value. But with the addition of Deception and the forthcoming Shaolin Monks (which I've played the demo for. It's gooood.), the MK series just may be (Gasp!) decent again... |

Yeah, I don't have a favourite.
I like a lot of fighters. So it would be hard to do the ones I love that are on the list with the ones that aren't |

Old school wise, I really enjoyed Street Fighter II, Killer Instinct, and the arcade KOF games.
But in these days, I'd have to say that Marvel vs Capcom 2 is one of the finest fighting games out there.
This really shouldn't have been a poll though, there's too many series, and 2D fighting games are quite different from 3D ones (ie. Soul Calibur, Power Stone, etc). |

Hadoken!
Seriously, though, the original Street Fighter was horrible. It's all about Street Fighter II, and its many incarnations. |

I mostly play Super Smash Bros. Melee, but calling that a fighting Game? For me, it's a party game.
I really enjoy Marvel VS. Capcom 2, but in terms of the listed series, I vote for King of Fighters. |

SPAM ATTACK WITH RYU!
Though, I will say that some of the ones that incorporate SF, like Capcom VS SNK Pro, aren't too bad. It was one of the better uses of my money for the PSX at least. I wasn't ever highly decent at the SF series but I wasn't bad either. |

Street Fighter, I gotta say the newer ones are not holding up as well as the older ones. I still play SFII more than any other game I have and me and my friends have a blast with it, well at least the friends I have that are really good at the game cause my other friends just get fed up with getting beat up all the time. |

Power Instinct isn't on there either but I don't really think many people have heard of the series. Power Instinct 2 via MAME will kick anyone's ass. |

I liked Mortal Kombat when I was younger... Always wanting to perform those "fatalities". Street Figher was something I played when I was younger also... I woulden't say I liked it so much though. And then, comes Super Smash Brothers. Not so bad, I guess.
So yeah... |

I shall never acknowledge a list of fighting games that includes neither the Little Fighter series nor the Power Stone series. |
