Heian-794: Thanks for helpin me out, I did everything you suggested & the menu comes out the same, this never used to happen before. I used to go into the editor with a breeze, edit my levels and save even with all that ASCII. But thanks anyway for takin the time to gimme a hand.

OK, I'm guessing that the first part, beginning with ASCII 93 E0 94 83 47... is ????? (naibu er?, "Internal Error"), but then there's no telling what that square after the 0/00 permill sign might be, so I can't guess the code.

Wait, that thing tha looks like a comma is actually a lower quote mark (ASCII 82), so the other parts after it (82 AA 94 AD) spell out 発生 (hassei). I'm guessing that the whole thing is a relatively uninformative 「内部エラーが発生しました」naibu eraa ga hassei shimashita, "An internal error has occurred".

Tried to install myself but WinZip asked for some kind of temporary file that I don't got.

Same here. But it makes no sense, because although Visine works nice on my computer and my laptop, it doesn't work at my brothers laptop. All of them have Windows XP.

Visine works fine for me, but when I try to run Kuwata's editor, I get the same message as Googie.

Myster Mask, if you think it might be worth the hassle and you've already installed them, could you set the "allow Asian fonts" thing in the Control Panel to "on" so that that message will be displayed correctly and not be gibberish?

Don't make me have to look up the ASCII values of "cursive f", "permill sign", "raised a", etc. and string them together and then look up the corresponding 16-bit SJIS characters! ;

Good for you, but this editor can run on Windows.

All this talk with VISINE recently, made me wanna take a try at it, but since I have WinXP it doesn't work on my PC. Well, went back to Kuwata's editor and it used to work on my PC perfectly, until I had to reformat, so it doesn't work anymore. I'm using the japanese ROM, it never used to work with the american version. Well, here's a pic of my problem...

Any ideas on what to do? I'd really appreciate it.
