This is false. The only time a WMV is encrypted is when it uses DRM which is quite uncommon. |

I think WMVs are encrypted. Personally, I suggest just finding a better source, and if possible, stabbing anyone who uses them. |

Somehow get just the Windows Media Player 10 codecs separated from the player itself.
Sorry, I can't be much more help. Usually proprietary players will make it very difficult to get only the codecs from it, plus I've never needed WMP support |
