It doesn't have save data on it, the game just thinks it does because the save type isn't being emulated right. Do you have the latest version of VBA?

Why did it have saved data already on it? 128k didn't work, It corrupted all of my SMA collection. Good thing I had zips.

I had the same problem. Game would never load, it just came up and said saved data corrupted. It was the English one, I had to find the Japanese one and then it worked. I gave up trying to fix it a while back.

You may also have to change the Save-Format to Flash128k.

Some of the more advanced game boy advance games has a complicated saving.
The fix is the use virtual boy advance!

SMA4 is for the GBA. Also, was it an English one?

I found the rom and said "This will be fun!". When I open it in Virtual SNES, what did I see? I saw something that said, "Saved data is corrupt." Can I prevent this?
