I think it's great the way it is.
The link bar, with those colors, makes it look like it's glowing, nice effect.  Cute neko too. |

That picture is one reason I like cats. Cats are mysterious creatures and so stylish at the same time.
I also noticed the minipic you made, I just love the way you animated it.

Ok. Now this was just wierd. My cat looks exactly like the cat in the picture, and she was sitting on my lap as I entered the thread.

Just wondering, but is the background light or dark?
If the BG image fails to load it seems to make the entire thing impossible to read. I don't know if you link to some random CSS file somewhere [Geoshitties? Gag.] or something but if that's the case... argh.
These damn school computers suck, but yea... I had a fallback should something like that happen, [font tag just before the actual CSS DIV code, so it'd look almost the same]]...
 But hopefully with smaller images it won't be such a pain on dialup now  |

I saved em in JPG, but didn't use that. Anywho, I'll use the smaller sized ones you did except for the mid one, coz teh metallicy-ness is gone from that for some odd reason O_o
I think I like the simpler layouts more though, you know. Theyre nice.. I just wanted to make a layout like this for these reasons:
a) I needed a layout!
b) I love that cats eyes
c) i liked the backgroundy pattern I found

It kicks ass, BUT - even in PNG, those images have NO EXCUSE being that huge. I bet I could take them down to under 20k each and have them look the same... in fact, I'll try to do that right now for you.

Big improvement. By the way, if you're going to use those, put them on your webspace, because my angelfire account is probably untrustworthy.

And it really is...you're making me feel bad for having a simple layout now...bad you. It is a bit harsh on the size (like everyone else said) and the link bar isn't one to stand out (didn't even see it until it was mention)...but other wise it's nice...it blends really well, the greenish hue of it I really like...soft on the eyes...I mean...it works. |

Well he's right about this, there's about 250k of images in there That can be lowered a bit if you use JPG, but it might not look as good ...

I know whatcha mean with the link bar thingy, oh well.
I would use one of my drawings, but I haven't drawn anything new or good enough to put in a layout though, plus I'd need someone else to code it because my coding skills arent that great... I really should draw more...
I guess since I got ADSL I don't pay attention to loading times anymore |

why don't you use one of your drawings for your layout?
Don't take this wrong, but the linkbar looks like it's been added just for the hell of it, it doesn't match so good with the rest of the layout :-/
It works for firefox, btw. |

New post layout. Modified the code to my old kitty one.. and then did all the images for this  It looks so weird!! I'm just used to my old one =\ Well it stretches..

like my old one did too, and I put links in a bar under there *points down to blue thing* ..image map.. Thats about it. I don't like this one as much as my other one Anywho, if theres something wrong with it in Mozzilla or whatever..uhh, I dunno how to fix that Look at the big scary kitty with freaky eyes!! XD
