Anyway, I love it! I haven't thought about Tenchi in years! Tenchi Universe and Tenchi in Tokyo were better than Tenchi Muyo, though.

Oh...I got this layout from BGNG, it in no way reflects my personal views or opinions. I REALLY like anime, Anime Layouts, and Im not entirely sure who the guy in my layout actually is.

So with that said. I like Tenchi, and I like the layout.

Lies! Well... I can see the arguement for the first TV series (Universe) being better than the OVA (Muyo) since it had a fully expressed plot... But the characters are much much deeper in the OVA, and the universe much more expansive and well planned out.

Shin Tenchi Muyo (Tenchi in Tokyo), while not a bad series at all, simply doesn't compare to the OVA or the first TV series at all.

Nothing beats the original.

Plus, you're porbably working only with a (possibly faded) knowledge of what Cartoon Network aired. Cartoon Network butchered the series for sake of censoring and making it fit in the availible time-slot with room for commercials. Plus, there's been seven more OVA episodes produced since when CN aired the series, as well as a whole 26-episode side-story-series (Tenchi Muyo GXP) set in the OVA's reality, which further expands upon it.

Awesome layout as usual. I think the only thing that would make it better would be animated gifs...but then the layout would be so good we'd all die.

Yes, I said that in the first post Anyway, Now the text starts below the bars. So, yeah.

The timed changes are awesome, and I think keeping the text below the bars will look better too. Very very nice job, JD.
Is there a sunrise in the morning? I CANT WAIT TO SEE!!

Yum... peachy orange

*Waits for nighttime, and dawn*

Fun, though, the layout still seems a bit... bulky, or busy . I cant put my finger on it...

Wait. Your layout changes color according to the time of day!

Also, I would start your text below the bars and maby add your name (or nothing) on the same lines as the bars are located on. Just a thought.

Looks better now that it's small. No more screen scrolling which is great.

Well, as you might could tell reading the thread, I had to resize everything down. The slight gray matting was a lot less noticable on the larger versions. Either way, it's about the best I can do without pixel-tracing the things, and I don't have time for that. The shapes aren't really meant to have any particular meaning as far as my layout goes, they're just a few of the designs that have appeared on Washu's screen from time to time. While the bars and the circular bars are probably meant as measurements of some kind, I don't honestly claim to understand the triangle-circle combo at all.

And it should now be in evening mode. Orangey.

Nice programming, but it overrules the ART. I don't understand the shapes, let alone, the grey grit on the outside. You sir, are fail! j/k At least the colours aren't seizurific.

I had to insert a few line breaks before the quote myself so it wouldn't screw up Otherwise the blockquote box goes behind the bars image and it just looks all sorts of odd. But, yeah, text wraps around the bars just fine. I'm trying to keep this all together so you can see. *previews* Yeah, as you can see, it wraps around it. It is odd, though... I'm considering making the text start below where the bars are.

Ah, that looks much nicer space-wise.

What happens if you type 3 full lines in a row? Do they just go around the bars at the top or what.. quotes go below it I've seen. Those are oddly positioned. Or something.

Shrunked. Now I've got to clean up some of the images

Edit: Oh, and I almost forgot, a big thanks goes out to Kasumi-Astra for letting me see her time-sensitive coding stuff, so I wouldn't have to figure out how to do it myself

It's a little big because of the.. "keyboard" at the bottom, but overall very nice. Great job.

I remember Tenchi . Interesting little show, with a very crazy scientist

Downsizing the little bars and guages may be a good idea. It just seems really.... bulky right now

The designs yea sure, but it covers more the my screen on 1024x768. So, because of the size ive had to block this layout. When the majority of your layouts I have liked muchly. But this one, well its big.
