You cant import a single palette line. However you CAN do something of a palette transfer.

1. Open Lunar Magic
2. Load the SMAS palette into an unused level in lunar magic
3. Open Lunar Magic... again
4. Go to the level you want the palette(s) to be in.
5. Open the palette editors in both windows.
6. Click the first color you want in the SMAS window. Notice the RGB values.
7. Click on the first color in your level that you want the palette in.
8. Copy the RGB values from SMAS to your level. Click ok in both windows.
9. Continue copying colors like this
10. Save your palette in your level and youre done!

Thats how I do it anyways

Plus, to my knowledge at least, you can't have a single palette row assigned from an entire palette file. I didn't even know that Map16-7k could assign a palette to zero either.

You'll be better off just picking the palettes yourself. You'll have more control and you can organize it however you want.

I've been ripping GFX from other games and putting them into SMW (All-Stars GFX, to be exact.) But how do you port a single palette from SMAS to SMW? Of course, with M16-2k you can easily have palette 0 use the .PAL file. How do you do this with the other palettes? I want my SMAS FG to have the same colors when I port them into SMW without totally butchering other palettes in the process. I've been using BG Mapper in extracting the GFX and palettes.
