If you're talking about delay support, it's a thing which allows one to decide if there should be any delay between showing letters, for example, between words or at the end of sentences. |

Okay. I added delay support. You can download the new version from the old link. Instructions can be found in the readme. |

Because it would be a lot of work? Because you'd run out of tiles pretty quickly if each letter had more than one display speed? |

Thanks, but I already knew that. (The program sets all entries in the table to the same value.) I actually thought about adding support for it, but decided not to, due to a reason I can't seem to remember. |

From the SMW Thank You Message Importer read me file Also, you can't choose if there should be a delay after a certain letter or not.
Does this help?Original poster unknown Anyway, you'll find the text at 0x1D726. The letters are 4 bytes away from each other. Just add 0x80 to the tile number to get the values to use (for example, "a" is 0x08+0x80=0x88). The font itself is in GFX file 0x0D, although you probably already knew that. After taking a closer look at the ASM trace, I noticed there's a table at 0x1B05B of 1-byte entries that hold the values of how long to delay displaying each tile. Modifying that should be pretty easy.

No, I'm too lazy to make an exporter. There's the program. Have fun. (Note that it only supports up to 84 characters, spaces not counted)
