JJ's post reminded me of something. If it is highlighting blue IN the game, then that is most likely 1 of 2 reasons again:

1. You have alot of overworld ExGFX and the game is getting funky (this happens to me and I don't know how to fix it;_

2. The palette in the world you just came out of has another color (blue in this case) as the first palette square. Naturally it goes black, white, black. Yours might go Blue, white, black or something. Just change the first palette square in the palette editor to black all the way down the column. It fixed this type of problem with my overworld getting pink outlines anyway.

I'm a little confused. Is it highlighting in blue while you play the game, or just in the Overworld editor? If the latter, these guys probably already hit the nail on the head, but if it's the former, it could be any number of issues. Please be more specific.

It highlights a blue (or cyan as you say) color when it's selected. You are editing the events correct? Also, there are probably 2 reasons why you can't move in the desired direction:

1. You may have it to move left on pass of event, but that level may not activate that event which causes you not to move left.

2. You dont have the green tile beside the level that "forces" mario to move left.

Thats all I can think of anyway.

Cyan you say? Hmmm... Are you sure it's not green or blue? I don't think i've ever seen cyan on the OW before... Or unless you're highlighting/selecting the red exit tile. What is the problem anyway? Those level pass settings only take effect when starting a new file. Also you must make sure that that level isn't activating No Event, you must set it to an event.

I am altering the paths in the overworld (Yoshi's Island), and one of them highlights cyan (very light blue)... Also, I can't move after the level's passed, even though I made sure you could walk left on level pass..
