I was thinking about doing that.
I'll try it right now.

Actually, pick which block to solidify after the corresponding switch palace is hit, then change the filled-in block for it to your flower block.

There isn't one (that I know of) in BT or in the game originally.

However, block code seems to be fairly easy. I can't do it, but perhaps you can figure it out by asking around. I know someone on this board has a block workshop, so there might be one in there.

I think it's a single byte change for a block to release something different.

Wish I could be of more help.

On the topic of Switch Palaces and BlockTool, is there a block that has a flower in it and will be solid after a switch palace? Same question with a Star.

This would be VERY beneficial to my hack... sort of.

So it's that simple then? I actually thought of trying that, but didn't know it would work

But don't expect a demo for a LONG time. School here starts on August 3rd, and I'll be from 12:30 to 5:30 pm (interlocking), so I won't be able to touch my comp until around 8 pm, after homework and stuff.

@Keikonium: Thanks for your thoughts. I'm going to put a lot of interesting ideas in my hack, hopefully it won't take as long as Odyssey. I'm going to show everyone "The 1001 lost uses for Blocktool"

You would actually just need to use ExGFX. The used switch may be a sprite, but you can't see the original ! symbol on it when it's pressed. So a color change works just fine.

By the way, I LOVE your idea here!!

Use the 16x16 tile editor. However, since the used switch uses a sprite, you'll have to use ExGFX and SGFX Bypass.

How can I make the switch blocks, and their respective switches, use different graphics for each one (for example, the yellow blocks have a lightnig symbol, the green ones have a tree symbol, etc.)? I'm trying to create an elemental theme for the switch palaces and their respective blocks.
