Romance movies...i like them, particularly romanic comedies
So, what are you going to do about it? As long as there is an interest in a genre, somebody will make a movie--whether it be action, comedy, animation, family moves, etc. it's futile to argue that a genre should be forgotten because that is like saying a certain type of music, religion, race, etc should be eliminated...

in short, if you don't like romance movies, don't spend your money on it--simple as that. if enough people stop spending money on those movies, then you'll get your wish...

Watch mine first, it's the greatest romance movie ever made. Which also makes it the most underrated.

As long as it's not depressing.

I seriously wouldn't mind checking out some of these movies mentioned in this thread.

I'm not a fan of romance movies....in fact, I hate them and I find no point whatsoever, but as long as they dish out the money, they will not stop making them; and believe me, they won't stop making money.

There's a few that I do like, but only is its a musical or in comedy form. Plain romance movies, to me, are a bore.

Dude guys,

I once saw this movie on the Women's Network (so I was flipping by ...), and it had this great movie on. I don't know what the name of it was, but it was great. The girl had issues, and just couldn't seem to get hooked up with a real man. She was a waitress, and everything.

Eventually she met this nice guy, but he had issues. He had an extremely weak heart, and was almost retarded (can't remember if he was maybe atistic, spelled right?). But so yeah, one night she was walking home and almost got raped, then this guy came out and saved her and took her home.

They hung out, she was really nice and everything.

It seemed like a good movie, I don't know what it was but I really got into it and was almost tearing up a bit a few times throughout the movie (there's more to it than my stupid synapsis )

It pissed me off that I didn't get to see the end, I had to leave

Another random movie I saw that I got into and was somewhat emotional about, was Stepmom I believe. Just a sad movie.

Yeah, I'm a killer for emotion.

It took me a while to decide if I should warn you for this post, considering that is quite possibly the lamest insult I've read in this forum. But I've made up my mind.

Don't flame staff. It's generally not the best idea. And can we get a spell-checker in here so we can prove once and for all it is NOT SPELLED "MORAND"?

(Psst: Go watch Amelie and tell me they're all the same.)

Wow. Just wow.

In an attempt to make some decent conversation out of this, if you're looking for a good romance movie, I suggest Casablanca.

... big deal?

Hey guess what, most action movies are the same too!

The world is almost at an end ... we need a hero ... the day is saved!

And etcness to all the other movies too.

Really, you didn't bring in that much of an arguement as to why you feel that way about such movies.

I think they should stop making those movies because they always end up the same ending. So many of those movies they made in the past 50 years or more. I am adult, but for real they should stop. I don't think I saw a full romance movie before and maybe I did before. Has some sence, they are all the same.
