The unlocking trick is 1 of 2 things:

1. I figured out how to unlock hacks using a hex editor. It only bypassed the check LM does to see if hacks are locked (at least thats what everyone says). It was a matter of changing 2 or 3 bytes and you could open a locked hack in LM. This method however didn't show the graphics. It did show the level layout tho.

2. They are talking about RLM. This is the real unlocking tool that shows EVERYTHING when the hack is unlocked. The only problems I have with this tool are that when I unlock a hack, it corrupts...something...that makes it unplayable in ZSNES. It also doesn't fully unlock all the OW data which really sucks because THAT is why I unlock hacks to admire the OW's.

If your wanting to unlock hacks tho, use RLM. The games wont be playable, but you can admire all the hackers hard work.

I think you need to change an offset in rom so that LM thinks is DW, but I don't know what offset ...

How do I edit the (custom) blocks description in LM, not using an external file, as you did in DemoWorld? If the think is harcoded in LM, how can I use it in an ALL_STARS + WORLD rom?

The space remaining doesn't matter much, unless your ROM is already at 4 MB. And no, there's no automatic way to select everything.

Click on the little hill with the star in the OW editor. Then click on the button that has a ? block. It will show a few things and alot of blue. So hit 8 and 9 so that green and blue paths show up. Then you can click on one and past it to the OW. Hope you understand that

I was trying to find a quick way to select everything in a level so I tried Ctrl + Shift + S. It came up with a scan rats screen thing. It said I only have 17 space left! I have no clue what anything that was there meant but is 17 space left okay? And is there a quick way to select everything?

Sorry, but:

a) It's impractical, for many reasons that have been discussed before.
b) As already stated, I'm not going to adjust that feature in LM.
c) Revealing the "trick" for getting LM to load the ROM isn't exactly a big deal. Evidently most people don't realize you could already do that... older versions of LM before the feature was made will open the ROM regardless. Which is why it was always called *level* access restriction.

Extract the missing files from a fresh ROM (if they aren't in the graphics directory), and insert the GFX using the dialog rather than the toolbar button, making sure to set the address back to the default for GFX (40200).

Minor Question. I get this Error that Sprite gfx 00 and 01 are missing after i extracted Gfx from rom, and it won't insert the gfx bac kdue to a high address range. How do i fix this problem.?

Just hit the "Reload Overworld and Discard Unsaved Changes" button (the first one.)

I am so glad it does this because if it wasn't for this happening I would have ended up doing an ENTIRE overworld agian (level placement and everything). But in your case just open up 2 LM (without opening ROM on either one) and then open ROM on one and then other Rom on other Then open overworlds on both and you can easly flip back and fourth.
