on the title screen, if I make mario take a goomba or a shell through a pipe, it brings up a game select screen that doesn't work when I actually use it in the game.

What about applying the FastRom patch? You could try that too.

I think BMF made a patch for it, but you had to put all the custom blocks on the last page or something, so you couldn

Hey I don't know if anyone is having a similar problems i'm having. The pipes work perfectly however the game seems to slow down more often now. For example I'll have like two koopa troopas and two goombas on the same screen and the game would move really slow as if there were ten baddies on the screen. Could it be that I have too many custom blocks in my game from block tool? Is there any solution to this without removing the pipes? Is anyone having a similar problem? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Mikey, you should do what Fu did in Demo world and not allow Yoshi in the pipes. Or you can make an entrance tile that doesn't let Yoshi in the Pipes so you can do it for some.

1. If Yoshi is near a pipe exit when Mario exit

Now that I know how to work blocktool, I'll use this (while giggling like a maniac) in my hack! I don't think we can thank you enough mikeyk!

I put the blocks in my hack without any problems and they work great.

I have another idea for a pipe block that maybe you could put in the next release. Maybe a corner block that will only change your direction only every other frame. The direction you'd travel at an intersection would be random.

Well after all the trouble of inserting these pipes into block tool I finally got them working after spending like an hour trying to fix them! Thanks MikeyK so much for these pipes! I really appreciate it!! Even with small bugs found it's still a great thing to have in a hack! Besides, no one is perfect anyway. Once again, thank you so much!

I imagine you could use the actual wrap block for this. Just lead the pipes right into them, and make them look like part of the pipe.

I discover A bug: the cross of pipe stuck you when your enter from bottom
and when you hold down while entering left or right
Exept for that, Anything is perfect
Edit:sorry I was forgot to put the block they were all act like 25 normal tile so anything allright
Edit2:I found a real bug this time:the flashing mario effect when you get hit disable when entering a pipe

The bug that Ice Man mentioned about Small Mario dying has been killed. The zip has been updated, so redownload the files, and repatch your ROM with pipes.ips

Did you do this before or after Fu's Demo World.
Maybe he can help you with the bug work.
Of course, I found no bugs and I LOVE IT!!
Work like this is what make hacking SMW so wonderful.

Ice Man: Coule you tell me anything more about small Mario dying? Is this in certain circumstances or seemingly random, cuz I've never run into that problem. All animations stop and sprites stop while in the pipes. That's how I meant them to be.

I noticed two small bugs.

1st: Small Mario sometimes dies when entering a pipe.
2nd: Animations for the question blocks and midway points stops.

That's it.
