I agree with all who thought The Passion Of Christ was an excellent movie. It's nice to finally see Jesus Christ get what he had coming to him all along. |

Peter and Louis eventually went into Mel Gibson's hotel, then they found a secret room that was a mini theater and had "Passion of the Christ: Crucify This!, Directed by Mel Gibson" in the projector. So they played it, and it was basically Jesus with guns, teamed up with Chris Tucker in recent time.
You're probably not laughing, because reading that doesn't seem funny. Just one of those things you have to see. |

Hey hey hey now, I didn't like Troy either. I could never quite put my finger on why, but after I left the theater the only thing that came to mind was "Why did I just watch that?".
Don't know what it was about it, just didn't seem too.....good. :/
And I didn't see Alexander yet. |

Braveheart was cool. I liked the stories behind it, but it could do without it. It was, as AF said it, superbly well done.
Troy fucking blew. The source material, either from the Illiad or even Dares is fucking good. In fact, if they would've used those, the movie would've been better. But they decided to pander to Pitt as Achilles rather than the OTHER characters. Plus, the movie sucked over all.
Alexander ditto to the above. Although I liked it a bit more, because it caused a HUGE influx of kids into the Classics club at my school to study Hellenism, which I was more than happy to aid them with 
Now, as long as that stupid idea to make Thermopolye into a movie is dead, I'll be a happy man. I couldn't stand to see my favourite battle ruined. |

I still think Passion of the Christ 2: Crucify This! would be a good movie to watch with a date at a nice nightin the drive-in. |

Braveheart is very historically inaccurate, and the Scottish and Irish accents aren't realistic, but it's still my favorite movie. I think it's written superbly well, and I love the acting, music, and directing (I'm a fan of the shaky-camera battle scenes as well). |

For the record, movies don't HAVE to be "omgwtfpwn" accurate to be good. This goes for Braveheart, Troy, Alexander, etc etc.
It's a movie, it's entertainment. Being not 100% hisotrically accurate does not call for a mark down in movie quality. |

The Last Temptation WAS better 
Braveheart was cool if you can ignore EVERY single historical detail that got mangled and distorted.
Gibson sucks. He should make this into a prequel of Mad Max and be done with it. |
