He originaly has no helmet on when the title screen appears..But when u press start the helmet appears on his head and he teleports into the air |

I'm still trying to get over his hairdo . . . Did it always look spikey and such? I seem to remember a helmet.
Anyway, I like the most recent shot best . . . The "Mega" slopes up... The "Man" is horizontal though. I'd have the "Man be on a slope as well." |

I liked first screenshot more than others.. As it reminds me from original  .
But about your third screenie, I think a letter "a" from "Mega" is a bit too
close to letter M of "Man"-word. |

Take out the white outline, when you do that it will probably look choppy, so smooth out the letters after the outline is gone |
