Then watch the trailer for it on ign. And I was right about the First Person segment. You can see a bit of it in the trailer.
Speaking of video game movies, God of War is also going to be made into a movie! A video game totally meant for it. |

It got the R rating leg, be happy!
I'm actually hearing GREAT things about this. Not from the crew, but from production staff (who generally egg movies before they come out). Which is amazing. I'm thinking that this movie will be good. Maybe not GREAT as they are saying, but definitely serviceable and enjoyable. |

The Rock has starred in some very successful movies before. Not only that, but good ones as well.
Anyway, what the fuck? How can people who have a computer NOT have heard of Doom before? It's only one of the best FPS of all time. Seriously, what the fuck?
Anyway, I think it will be pretty good. I'm hoping for outstanding but I guess we'll have to wait and see. And damn it, it had better be rated R. It can't Doom without an R rating. |

Precisely what I'm thinking. Especially since SH also has the editor from BOTW, who is a REALLY good editor and is perfect, I think, for a Silent Hill movie. |

There's quite a few video game- and cartoon-based movies in the works or being planned, most of them I'm sure will turn out to be shite, but I'm excited for them anyway. Silent Hill (this one HAS to be good, it's written by Roger Avary and directed by Christophe Gans, who are said to be big SH fans, especially Christophe), DOOM, Alice (unfortunately starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, who doesn't even look like an Alice), Oz (the American McGee game that never was...now being made into a trilogy of movies written by McGee), Transformers (wild... I don't know how this'll turn out), and I'm sure several more that I just can't think of right now; but then there are all the Uwe Boll movies, which I'm sure will be turds and I don't care about. (I haven't actually seen one of his movies, though... I should rent House of the Dead and see if it's really as bad as everyone says.) |

They look legit. I mean, after all, The Rock is in those pictures, and he's to play a lead role. Apparently the character Karl Urban plays is named John Grimm.
I don't know anything about the director. He's only recently gotten in the director's chair; all the other movies he's worked on he's worked as a cinematographer. Hell, I don't know anything about any of the crew listed on All Movie Guide. |
