Actually, the light cyan colors can be changed since they're replaced with transparency on Layer 3.

Remember this: The last 8 palette squares of the first 2 rows are used for the status bar. DO NOT USE THESE COLORS!

Some day I will take a picture of the regular palette you see in TEST levels, and tell everyone what each palette square goes with.

smwedit's method is a very good idea actually...

Sometimes I don't really have a choice. With all the water falls I have and such. And sometimes it isn't even my pallette. I have to load it with out knowing what it is going to take up.

I make the BG use palette 7 and the part of the goal point use palette 0, 1 or 3

I made an awesome level with good ExGFX and nice level design. But the pallette ruins my status bar! I demand to end this once and for all!!! That is if you can help,of course.
