Ack, Windows ME Is a very horrible operating system. Its based on the old DOS codebase and it's very unstable. I'd suggest getting a different OS fabio. |

he didn't specify the OS in the first post--so I was going with the notion he was using XP although, he did say he used ME after my initial reply |

...Because microsoft is stupid and forgets to add in required files and the ability to replace them. Anyways, I might just leave that up there in case anyone has that problem. |

I got no results when I searched my computer. I just recently searched for winhlp32 on Google but it keeps on giving me sites about a virus called winhlp32 so that didn't work out. By the way, my computer is Windows ME. |

windows old help system is missing from your computer. you can do a search on your computer to try to find winhlp32.exe...otherwise, i'm not sure if that file still exists for WinXP |

This has been annoying me lately. Everytime I open a file with .hlp in the end, for example the Lunar Magic Help file, it gives me this message.
Windows can't find winhlp32.exe
This program is needed for opening files of type 'Help File'.
Location of winhlp32.exe
Three options. OK, Cancel, or Locate.
What the hell is going on? |
