That is a good idea, but in this case it might not work. With no 'save' button, you would expect it to save automatically. Just a 'Press F9 to save' text should work fine.

Kei, here's a better idea than that - make it so that the first time LM is opened, a popup appears saying something along the lines of "First time user reminder: If you're having trouble with something, make sure to read the applicable parts of the Lunar Magic help file."

Keikonium, Fu asked me to say this since he lost his password (or maybe not) :

"I will add that to Lunar Magic 1.62b, which is scheduled for release in 2053"

In other words: A new version of LM would require three miracles...

I know the solution has been figured out, and you can't contribute mush more to the topic, but the F9 problem seems to happen alot.

Fu, if you read this, when and if you release a new version of LM, please include a save button on the map16 pages. It would save alot of [new] people time. Not everyone who is new to LM knows you have to press F9 to save. Or at least a text line on the map16 page that says F9 is to save. Just a thought.

You probably didn't saved your Map16 by pressing F9.

When I download a tileset (like the Castle of SMB1) from ExGFX workshop, I build a level made out of those tiles. I save, and it's all perfect. But when I play my hack, the ExGFX of the castle in the game are all messed up blue squares. (the squares that are on every empty tile page. ) Like I said, they are fine in LM, but not ZSNES. Whats wrong?
