That's strange... Actually, visine uses 3CC47h (2 bytes per level) for TSA settings. He gave the Quickman's TSA attribute manually for you to change! <> Something's wrong - you made confusion I suppose? |

In the megaman 2 rom file go to $3cc5f and change it to 02
That should allow ladders in quickman's stage as TSA type 02 |

Since every stage would have AIR and SOLID as TSA types, they hardcoded it in Megaman2. Heh, I _really_ must resume visine works. |

well i'm not sure exactly where to start looking in the rom for this. I hope someone knows where to look. I had a nice setup for the level, but changed it thinking the ladder idea could'nt be done. I await your response!!

Well, it's not so much a problem in MM1; you just change the TSA defs (located at $1CD56 in the ROM, each stage using 4 bytes to determine the 4 TSA types and the stage order following the usual order of Cut, Ice, Bomb, Fire, Elec, Guts, Wily 1, Wily 2, Wily 3, Wily 4). I assume it's similar in MM2, although if the first and second TSA defs are hardcoded, the data should be shorter. I don't have the MM2 TSA def location, however. I may look into it later if no one is successful in finding it. |

It's the same problem on MegaMan 1. I don't remember how to fix it right now, but there's an easy way without ASM hacking. ;; |

Yeah, #2 and #3 are level dependant. Here is what I remember:
- | #2 | #3 |
Heat Man | Ladder | Deadly |
Air Man | Ladder | ? |
Bubble Man | Water | Deadly |
Wood Man | Ladder | ? |
Quick Man | Nothing | ? |
Flash Man | Ladder | Special Floor |
Metal Man | Conveyor | Conveyor |
Crash Man | Ladder | Deadly |
Dr. Wily 1 | Ladder | ? |
Dr. Wily 2 | Ladder | Deadly |
Dr. Wily 3 | Water | Deadly |
Dr. Wily 4 | Ladder | Deadly |

but quickman doesn't have conveyer's or water. I found out what you ment when I was hacking Flashman. I wanted to make spikes, and when Megaman touched him, he slid. hence, ice. So, can anyone figure why this ain't working in quickman's level?!?

Has anybody figured out the TSA data for megaman 2 yet?
Each level has 4 block attribues. The first 2 are air and solid, but the other two are level dependant. That means that you can't have ladders in the same level as water, and you can't use water in the same level as conveyer belts or ice. |

It doesn't make any sense. I make the TSA block #2, which is a ladder. But when Megaman tries to climb up the ladder, it's as if it's thin air. This is only happening to me in Quick Man's Level. I'd appreciate any help, advice?!?!? Thank You. |
