Okay...

Fact 1: GBA, SNES, SGB and CGB all use the same color format, 5-bit BGR.

Fact 2: Sprites on the overworld nearly always have these colors: transparent, black, peach, and one differing color.

If you hack the colors for Hiro, who IIRC has red as the fourth color, every single red sprite on the GSC overworld takes the same color.

The only way to safely change Hiro's color is therefore to make his sprite use a different overworld palette index.

If they use the same pallete, of course both change. Set different palletes and it won't change.

Use the Pokemon G/S/C sprite editor to change Hiro's pallette but not interfere with pokeballs, etc.

Can I change the offset of pallets used on the Pokeballs, and everything else in the game that uses red except for Gold, or the Boy character, I need to know if I can change the offset of the pallets used on the pokeballs, or, If I can change Gold's pallet offset to crystals pallet offset, As you can tell alot of things aren't the right color, I just need to make it for Gold, If I can change his offset for pallet to Crystals, then the pokeballs and everyone else can return to tthe red in golds pallet, Thank you If you can help!
