I can't tell any difference between your last post and the one before it. It's not bad, but if you really wanted to cut down on the extra space, you should chop down some of the black space on the flame and let's burn images. I glanced at the code, and there's a couple of line breaks right before your text starts. If you can eliminate those, it'd look nicer as well.

I don't really remember your old ones, but this one here (the above, from my post) looks neat. Very nice work with it.

Well, I think I've got it as good as it will get. I noticed that I had a couple of unnecessary spaces in the code, so I deleted those to condense it. It is smaller now!

Hope you all like it...you'll be seeing it for several months...

It looks good. It's definately better without the glowing.

Overall, it's pretty nice! The colors are fine, a dark background is nice and the stats bit isn't too intrusive.

That's what I see as well, and probably what YD was commenting on before, too. Your text box is in the center and there's quite a bit of space above and below.. though it's much worse below. Taking out the empty black will help. I see you've gotten rid of the animated background, it's much better looking. If you don't see blank space, try changing it anyway and we'll tell you if it's better in 1024x768.

The above post looks good. I never really liked the flashing. The flames are awesome, and so is the boarder around your stats. I also like your other layout better, but this one is good too.

Yeah, I though that the yellow would be problematic, and so I made the table bg darker.

"You should condense the layout, there are a lot of noticable gaps."

Gaps, you say? I don't see any...there must be a difference between our resolutions...I've always hated that factor. Could you say where?

I really liked your old layout. Honestly. It was so much better, readable but nice looking too. The colors you have now make it impossible to read the text at moments.

Oh god, you have got to change that background. An animated gif that has your text go from partly readable to completely unreadable is a terrible idea
You should condense the layout, there are a lot of noticable gaps.

The flames on the bottom are a nice touch, that's the only positive I can come up for this.

I just wanted to know how it looks. Is it all right? Is the text readable? It doesn't take too long to load, does it? Also, I noticed that my little 'stats' table sometimes appears as one big, stretched table...it should be a small one, to the side of my post text. Maybe it's just me, though.

So?
