Check it out. I've been perusing it for a while. The author, Marc Widdowson, believes that Western Society is in decline. Under "Book Proposals," "Current Affairs," "Sample Chapter 1," he says someting interesting:
"There might be a danger of mistaking firepower for genuine power and authority. The United States could not discipline, say, China, in the way that it disciplines somewhere like Afghanistan. There is no prospect of the United States interfering in China |
