Im don't think of myself as inferior, i just feel that a game should be more fun then hard.

I think the japanese are a little different, they feel video games should be super chalenging.

If it is like that then it is fun to them.

I think that is why the actual super mario bros 2 (super mario bros: the lost levels) took soo long to get over here, it had to be tweaked to where it could be enjoyed.

Anyhow, after sheating my way through his hack, i found it to be pretty awsome.

Level design was great, just way too many enemys.

Geez, come on, people can't use savestates? Nothing is too hard with savestates.

(Well, okay, not true. You can make a hack annoyingly difficult even with savestates. Tends not to happen though.)

Anikiti,

I had my Japanese friend look around your page and I can't find downloads of your hacks so far. I really really like Luigi's Adventure,

We Americans are inferior to the Japanese video gaming skills, it seems.

This is a very solid hack, just way too hard on a keyboard. I really need a joypad for this kind of stuff.

Well, what i was haveing a problem with was just the fact that monster seemed to pop out, sometimes from no where.
I could not hold on to my powerups because of that.
The graphics were great as always.

He should try makeing it more obsticle oriented, rather then alot of monsters every where.

Heck, in the hack im working on, although their are plenty of monsters i make sure they are not right there when you walk up to certin areas.

I try to make it as much like the originel mario world as posible, in that when you play it, you only come up to small chalenges, overcome them then move on.

But that is ok, that is what game genie codes are for.
To make a game that althogh is a good game it is also way to hard become easyer for shmoes like me to play them.

I wish this board had a freaking spell checker.
My spelling sucks, i know i have spelled alot wrong, i just do not know what the right way is.

I think im going to talk to the heads about it.

Wow, I just found the coolest, and weirdest bug ever in a game:

I started up Save File 1, and it started me off in the snow world. Thats why when I got to the castle, I couldn't go anywhere from there. I thought the game was MEANT to start of there...I was wrong. So I had only played 4 levels or so, and thats why I thought something was messed up.

So I started the game again on Save File 2, and it started me on the main overworld to the left and I made my way to a factory. Judging by other peoples posts, this is where you are susposed to start.

So it seems to me that depending upon what save file you chose, you start somewhere different. I haven't tried #3 yet.

And just to make sure that this wasn't a one time glitch, I completly re-downaloaded and patched everything to try again. The same thing happened.

Is that what you are talking about Anikiti?

The level is just right for me.
But the factory was very hard...

So I'm guessing this is indeed an entirely different hack. I agree, however; the difficulty needs to be lowered dramatically. That's the only problem I've had with any hack that Anikiti has made.

I guess anikiti really is from Japan.
I could tell by his gramer, good english bad gramer.(not to offend)
But it's cool, i think i got the gist of it.

Im just trying to figure out what bug he and everyone else is talking about, maybe i just have not made it that far yet.(doubt i will, can't find my game genie code book)

Thank you for the comment.
I'm sorry it seems to have released the demo version with the bug remains apparently variously....
I will release the following demo version because it is adjusting the difficulty now with there not this.

I could not enjoy this hack.
Mainly because i kept loseing my powerup every few seconds.
Too man monsters and too hard to get them out of the way.

It is like this for me with every hack you make anikiti.
Ill just start useing game genie codes with this one, like i do with all of the ones you make.

I just can't seem to get anyplace in his hacks without cheating.

I don't mean to tick anyone off, but its pretty hard to play his hacks as they are.

That's not a good idea at all, HH. in SMB3 i made a brand new status bar and all of it uses palette 0, so that palette 1 is available for the background. That's how the original SMB3 had its palette arranged.

Yes, the status bar palette keeps changing and the numbers don't look too great. (Maybe if there's another version of LM, it should make it impossible to edit the status bar colours. )

No, i didn't get that problem, Kei. i got to the snow world without any event glitches. Of course the paths didn't show up though. Mario's GFX could use a lot of work. I also spotted quite a lot of GFX errors during levels too. Squashable goombas with green shoes?? and those SMW Koopa Troopas with the black outline don't look good at all.

I thought this hack was already complete...unless Mario X World, Second Edition is an entirely different one...?

Iis it just me, or is this kinda glitchy? I see so many palette errors (the pirana plant stems are black) and other stuff. No paths show up on the overworld. And I can't even pass the first castle. I beat the reznors, and it doesn't move me to the cave that appears. Then if I enter a level again, the cave is gone. It's kinda messed up. The first 3 levels or so were awesome. The level design is great, but I really want to play the rest of the hack.

I had even tried to pass all the levels using game genie, but no use. Still can't pass the castle. I doubt I need to expand the ROM, but does anyone know whats going on?

And has anyone else had this problem.
