X3 is your favorite, and it's the only one you DON'T have ?
Yeah?
I don't know about your area, but X3 is so rare around here ... I've never seen it. Whenever I find it online it easily goes past $50, once I saw it at amazon.com for over $300 (I think it was with the box and everything, I'd think ...)

Yeah but I don't even remember how long it took me before..since I haven't finished it yet.I like to take my time and span the time out, not all at once . The last time I remember playing it was when I was 9 but now would be different. |

Like Flicky. You want to unlock Flicky.
You can get the MAME rom for Flicky, that's what you really want.
I need to pick it up too, Emptyeye. I just can't FIND it anywhere. |

And getting more off-topic, the mega Man collection changed some text as well. Nothing important, but at least the names are consistant now - no more "Dr. Wiley" and "Dr. Right".
Yeah, you're right...the Mega Man 3 text just before you start Skull Castle is changed a bit.
ALSO RE: Zelda II on GameCube disc: They did change the intro, and it had something to do with the "No. 3 triforce" in the original's intro--they either fixed ONLY that (Which was hardly the only problem in the intro), or fixed everything BUT that. I can't remember which.
Oh, and I should pick up the Mega Collection at some point. |

It has Flicky! Flicky is awesome. Sure, it's one of the most annoying games I've ever played, and there's NO way any sane human being can play it without ending up shouting dirty words at the TV and then turning it off in disgust, vowing to never touch that evil game ever again.. and then be back playing it an hour later. Flicky rocks. It's the best game on the disc. Totally serious here.
Bella: Eh, most of the games won't let you save anyway, and those who do are rather easy to beat anyway - you don't NEED that memory card. However, it's pretty much required if you want to unlock things. Like Flicky. You want to unlock Flicky. So yeah, get a memory card.

They also changed the Zelda II intro I heard, but the changes were... more minor.
I better check later... and oh. I seen "Sonic Mega Collection" somewhere before, but I didn't bought it. Next time I see it, I buy it... ; |

I remember the last time I played Sonic the Hedgehog (a few weeks ago) it took me a little over 30 minutes to beat it, including getting all of the Emeralds.
But yeah, seriously. These are games you just turn on and play for fun whenever. I hated how they had a save option with the Xbox and PS2 versions. |

Did anyone ever dump that Zelda rom, come to think of it? I know that Animal Crossing dumps are available (the NES games that were on the GameCube disc, each one was different checksum wise from the originals) but the Zelda/Zelda II dumps? |

WORTH NOTING: They actually did change some things with the Zelda disc--the intro to The Legend of Zelda is now in something approaching native English rather than being a mess with tons of quotation marks--though you're right in that it's just an NES emulator on the disc playing the games pretty much, and I don't think they changed anything that affects gameplay. |

I'll check today when I go to dee store. I haven't even beat any of those Sonic games ..we don't even have a memory card thingy for Gamecube |

Depends on the person.
If you're a collector, I'd say it would be nice to have access to all the games on one little disc, it would just save you time, plus aren't Genesis a little hard to get to work sometimes nowadays? (at least mine is).
But I'd say, if there's other games you want out there, go for them.

Ristar isn't good, it's great.
But if you already own most of the Sonic games, you may as well just look for a Genesis copy of Ristar, I'd assume it's kind of rare though, and could be pricey.
Definitely a great Sonic Team game though.
Link2004: ... the graphics are not increased a bit, and I doupt they're even "emulating" the games, they're just ported. Sure, maybe there's a slightly more crisper resolution, but seriously ... you're way to picky. |

That doesn't make sense. So, you'd get a headache if you were to say, hook up an old NES, SNES, or Genesis and play those games on the TV?
What I ment was the incresed graphics of a Gamecube emulating an old game like Sonic 1 or 2 can get annoying to me, personaly. Have you ever played Zelda 2 the adventure of Link (Zelda Collection) on the Gamecube? It's just like that. I only play those type of classics on my computer. |

Nothing I can think of... you can unlock Ristar, which I've heard is very good, but I just haven't gotten around to unlocking it yet... Beyond that, unless you liked Sonic Spinball or Sonic 3D Blast, there's not really anything that'd compel you to get it, beside the convenience of having it all on one disk. |

I have it. I couldn't ever really get into the Sonic games. I was always a Nintendo guy back in Sonic's glory days, and seeing a Collection disk of all those old games on the GameCube is kinda weird. I did like the Sonic Adventure 2 remake, though.
