I bought my DS and I use a PSP thats technically not mine... But whatever. I think you really need them both to have the full experience. The PSP is awsome for great graphics and console-esque games (like GTA). DS is cool for originality and simulation (like Nintendogs).

I have a DS with mario 64 and Wario Ware: Touched!, but I use the DS for playing GBA games more than DS games.

I do have a DS, but I usually just play GBA games on it. The backlight is nice, I don't have to buy new batteries constantly, and both games I own (Mario 64 and the Metroid demo) are somewhat annoying to control.

Besides, Activision Anthology is the best GBA game ever.

Nintendo DS, I got 5 friends with a DS and we usually play multiplayer a lot on games like Goldeneye: Rogue Agent and SM64DS. Looking forward to the new games for the DS in late 2005.

BECAUSE I'M NOT A CHEAP ASS AND LIKE, ACTUALLY SUPPORT COMPAGNIES. (I never modded my PSX either, always bought the real thing, until it broke, now I have another one)

...

As for the topic, I have an NDS, and trust me, when having a week without power, this is your best friend.

I own a GBA. The current systems are too damned expensive. I can't swing 225 bucks for a DS and I certainly can't swing 350 for a PSP. :\

Actually, scratch owning that GBA. I sold it 4 minutes ago

I only own a DS so far, but I'm considering getting a PSP, depending on what sort of money I have left after getting a Revolution and other things, and also as long as there are at least two games released for it, that I won't be able to play on anything else.

I have 9 games for it right now, if you combine both GBA and DS, only one of which I don't like (Yoshi Touch and Go, for those who are curious). I'm considering biking out to EB Games this afternoon to try, and possibly buy Meteos as well

The only thing I don't like about it is the inability to link up GBA games, especially since 3 of the 5 I have require that function to fully complete the game In all, I'm quite happy with it. It's the first handheld I've ever purchased, so that has to hold some significance.

Well, I have a DS and PSP. I modded my DS so now it is metallic blue with a blue SMD LED and White for low battery, and also charging. Those things are so damn small!

I have a Nintendo DS. I only have Super Mario 64 DS.. other games interest me, but I don't have money, and my mom will be damned if she's going to buy me another game, when she can spend literally hundreds and hundreds of dollars on Sonic things for my brother. not that I'm bitter.

Animal Crossing online sounds kickass, and I'm slowly saving up money for it when it comes out.

The PSP just doesn't interest me.

Okay, how 'bout I get five tanks and you get one? Think you can beat me then?

Oh man. I forgat Viewtiful Joe. That game kicked so much ass on the Cube.

Here's a bit of a conversation I heard regarding the PSP: It plays music, movies, and even has a GPS!
I think to myself: I wonder if it plays games. That'd be cool.

Ah, cynicism. My weapon of choice.

Hey, I won fair and square! Not because of a cheesy health system. You should have used strategy against me.

Anyway, I got mine the first day it came out. I am happy with it. The only problem is that there are scratches on it because my mom put it in her purse in the same pouch with her keys. Then after that, I got a carrying case.

I have a great puzzle game anyway. Meteos is staying in my DS for a very very very very very very very long time. The best DS game so far in my opinion.

Plus, they are going to have Viewtiful Joe DS and Nintendogs... and Animal Crossing and New Super Mario Bros. Not to mention that one surgery game (can't remember the game) looks good.

As for the PSP... played a few games on it. Most noticable one was Ape Escape, which I have played many times on the original Playstation. Good graphics, I will say, but the load times? INSANELY TOO LONG. There was a loading screen from one point in the level to the next. I didn't like it...

Why buy?
Well... lemmesee...
I can use it while not sitting at my computer desk and take it where I please. I never have to worry about my games not being perfect or not being fast enough, since they aren't emulated. I won't feel like a complete theif, emulating something I don't own.

And of course the DS is emulatable, emulators are already showing alot of progress and have some games running (somewhat). The touchscreen could be emulated by using the mouse.

I got my DS the first day it came out. I reserved mine well in advance. I don't regret it, even though my dad plays it more than I do.
Most of the current games aren't that great, but I look forward to the online games. Mario Kart will rock, as will Animal Crossing.

I have a DS, and it's been sitting on my shelves for months, honestly.

I'm just waiting for Metroid Huntes, Castlevania DS, and there's supposedly talk of another sidescrolling Metroid being made for it also.

The PSP is cool and dandy.

Honestly though, I'm just not much of a handheld gamer, it just isn't my deal.

Have neither, want neither, happy with GBA. I got a light thing for my GBA that works sufficiently, as well as the Game Boy Player for when I'm at home.

And there's not one current DS or PSP game that really interests me.

I have neither but I won't vote in the poll because I might get one sometime in the near future.
