I hate everything about going to the movies besides the movie itself. Everything is so overpriced, including the tickets, and the cinema isn't exactly filled with tollerable people nowadays. I remember having a bunch of kids threw popcorn and M&M's at me, my friend and my friend's cousin for some unknown reason. The only saving grace was that we each got free movie passes thereafter.

Overpriced food and candy... easily remidied by buying it first and smuggling it in

Ticket prices... somewhere near 10 bucks.

Sticky... floors.

The fat guy who sits in front of you and you cant see by his head.

Kids...

Kids...

Noisy Kids...

Babies...

Groups of noisy kids

Birthday party groups

Sticky anything...

Running out of popcorn

Yeah... I never go to the movies anyway...

Then by the time you go around the food thing, you end up spending $20 more bucks... By that time your hoping to God that this movie is worth $40 bucks.

I also hate running out of soda.

That's another thing I hate about movies. My friends and I went to see White Noise the day it came out in January of this year. Tickets were expensive around $10, and the food was another $10. We had to pay for our own stuff, not for each others. In the end, the movie wasn't as scary as it was suppose to be and I felt like I wasted money on an awful movie. Next time you see a movie, make sure it's a very good one before wasting 20 bucks or more on it.

Well, there's nothing wrong with a little family outing. The parents were probably just raising their kids to by psychopaths, that's all.

Midnight showing...or a late showing for that matter, of a movie with action, and maybe rated R...a couple comes in with either a baby or a small child...shouldn't the kid be sleeping?

I hate kids that whine. Let's not even start on babies.
I fucking hate it when the people behind me kick the back of my seat.
I hate when people comment on parts of the movie, DURING the movie.
I hate people who laugh extremely loud.
I hate it when people slurp their drinks.
I hate kids.
I hate it when the people in the front move around in get in the way of the screen.
I hate it when people get up and walk away to go to the bathroom or whatever, cause they walk IN FRONT OF THE SCREEN.
I hate sitting next to people who take up the entire armrests for themselves.
I hate kids.

And as others said, the prices on the tickets are outrageous.

My Cinema must have the voloume on loud, I did't hear any girl giggling lately.
I agree, I seen people who forgot to shut off their mobile phones.
I could only count three kicks in my life, so it's not a problem.
I do that, but quietly... meh the Cinema is so loud that none hears it.
...ok, it was me who laughed that lot during War of the worlds.
Uhm, not many people drink in the cinema here.
That's not a problem, then I mostly watch 11+ movies...
I had only that bother before the movie.
Never seen that, infact i'm afraid that I take away arm-room from others. <.<
I hate infants during movies.

I think it was the 4th or 5th time I saw Episode III, there were these kids behind me that kept on talking, and talking, and talking, and talking, and they kept on commenting on the movie and spoiling things (so they probably saw it before). Some guy in my row turned around several times to tell them to be quite, and it was about half-way into the movie when they finally did.

So, yeah.

Ah, that happens a lot. They also have this fetish of buying candy like skittles or M&M's and throwing them at the screen and at people IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MOVIE. It's so annoying. The theaters are starting to crack down and have an employee sit in the theater so that if something happens, they can remove whatever punk assholes are causing the problem. I hope that works.

I know what you mean. What kind of a joke is that? And what kind of a person would say such a terribly evil thing...without really meaning it. Then they think its a strange coincidence when their dog gets hit by a car three days later.

What could have happened to them to make them so strange?

Most of the people who read this will probably think I'm kidding too...just think about that. Scary?

1) High ticket prices.
2) Running out of popcorn.
3) Being stuck in the middle of a really long movie, after you just finished a large soda, but don't go to the bathroom since you really like the movie.

That's it. I guess I'm just pretty easygoing. #3 happened when I went to see LotR: RotK, but I'm sure you didn't need to know that.

Oh, I have a new one. I hate it when I end up drinking those HUGE cups of soda they give you, and I then (of course) have to go to the bathroom real bad, but the movie's almost over and I don't want to miss the ending, as it could have one sudden twist or whatever, but the movie just drones oooooooooooonnnnnn and ooooooooooonnnn and DOESN'T FRIGGING END!!! So I give in and go to the restroom, and miss the ending because I got tired of waiting.

That happened when I saw Star Wars Episode III the first time.

Seems like you live in pretty undisciplined and disrespectful areas. I never have problems with noisy people, and definately not cellphones going off. The only real problem for me is when you have to take a piss in the middle of a movie. Happened in Spider-Man 2, think I missed something important :/

The cinema is one of the only products I can think of where you have no say in getting a refund. You buy your ticket, and that's it.

Like when I went to see Episode III, just this one and only time, and it was totally terrible and didn't even have Han Solo in it and a brief lame mention of Chewy, I wanted a refund because I would have preferred to put my money into one of those claw games where you can't win because it's rigged.

I agree with everything mentioned before my post.
The most annoying thing though is when people just won't shut up.
