I think this happened to me once, but it only wiped out the bookmarks (which I had very few of), not the extensions and settings.  |

i could swear...that someone else posted the same exact problem with very similar wording 
anyways, i haven't run into such a problem with firefox...so, try what ailure said... |

Close down all Firefox windows and to ctrl+alt+del and check if there is any Firefox.exe that lurks (close it, if they are). Sometimes it's still running, although this is rare with the latest version.
If that dosen't work, write firefox -profilemanager on run. And check if there is more than one profile... |

Not sure what is going on, but I opened up Firefox today and all my favorites and themes and extensions are gone. I looked in the actual folder, they are still there, but Firefox just doesnt know they are there. This has happened before, but rebooting the computer didnt work as it did last time. Anyone know whats going on? |
