No, I mean the one where you can upload your own code and run pirated games. (Or legal homebrew stuff, but Nintendo doesn't care so much about that.)

Where i live Gun Valikrye for XBOX is hard to find, im trying to get all the sega games that they released early on, and Otogi is really hard to find, i had a copy, and now that i want it back, all i can find is otogi 2...
Burnout 3 was rare to find in stores in southern idaho, i'd been looking for a copy since it came out, and finally got a copy back in may, they had just gotten a bunch of them in at walmart on friday, on tuesday, i went back to get another game, and they were sold out, which is crazy.

another one that took me a while to find was red dead revovler, after playing that, i dont know why i was looking for it.

Exploit? You mean the item duping? That was a cool "glitch". Except now it doesn't work anymore. It just freezes.

Oh I want it. I wanted it last year but never got around to it. :\

I figure that if anything, some store might end up putting it on the clearance rack after some bozo finds it in the storeroom collecting dust. And then I'll buy it for $14.99.

Don't know about US, but the only copy of PAL Mega Man Network Transmission I've heard of belongs to me. Too bad, really, it's a fun little game when you get past the beginning and its "10 slow ass bullets to kill one weak enemy, and you can't charge" system which has plagued the Battle Network series from the very beginning. Come on, Capcom, let us start the game with a stronger weapon, eh?

I doubt Cubivore was, it ended up getting a fair amount of coverage and I saw it in stores recently.

Super Monkey Ball 2 up here was still $69.99 last I checked. That's... pretty damn high for a GC title that's a few years old.

I can't find MMAC (Megaman Anni... you know) anywhere though.

Ouch, that's a MUST OWN for the Gamecube.

But yeah, I've definitely seen the Sonic Collection more than the Megaman one, plus it was released on multiple systems, so yeah (Sonic Mega Collection).

Really? I checked that game out from work ages ago. Guess I should have bought it.

From what I've heard, PSO Eps 1 and 2 for the Cube are quite rare as well. I've seen it in many stores where it still sells for about $40, even though the game's two or three years old by now. That also depends on whether or not the store even carries the game at all.

It seems like most good Gamecube games are hard to find.

It took me awhile to find Tales of Symphonia, which I had seen in the past ... but it was going for almost $40 or so. Luckily I got my copy for $20.

Steel Batallion for X-Box.

Then there are some collector editions that are kinda hard to find

My friend recently paid $60 for the PS2 version of Marvel vs Capcom 2.

Totally worth it though.

I'm still looking for the Dreamcast version.

Beyond Good and Evil is rare? Wow. I have a rare game. Yeah, it's a good one.

I don't know of any rare games. Maybe games that are hard to find because no one bought them despite their greatness. I don't know if this is rare, but Skies of Arcadia is a great game that I'm the only person I know who owns it.

To contrast with ones that are everywhere such as GTA San Andreas and Halo 2, I thought someone here might be able to tell me which titles are just about impossible to find. Among the ones I want are Rez (over $65 on ebay!), Beyond good & evil, and Klonoa 2. There should be a database on this. Any others to look for?
