I found an IPS Patch that converts the Mapper 40 version to Mapper 4. No matter, I found the two you mentioned anyway. I wonder if anyone has considered hacking PocketNES to support FDS roms, or even making a 'multiboot compatible' FDS emulator for GBA? |

PocketNES doesn't support mapper 40 anyway. There are versions of SMB2j that run on PocketNES though. (I have it on my flashcart)
Try the ROMs:
SMB2J mpr4 (Hack) SMB2J+SMB1 Chars (Hack)
I can't remember which I used, but it was one of those two.
Edit - Oh wait, you said GBA MP. My bad. |

I believe there is a mapper viewer that gives details on mappers. You can get it here:
http://nesdev.parodius.com/mappers.zip
Just open it up in the viewer.
(Unfortunately, it has no information on Mapper #40. Sorry. ) |

Easiest way, use FCEU's (or FCEUXD's) message log feature which is located under the help menu. |

How do I figure out what mapper an NES Rom is? I'm trying to find a version of SMB2J with Mapper #40, but I cannot tell the difference between several of the versions I've found so far... Any help would be appreciated! |
