Because it takes a while before people forget things.
spncram: what does it explain? when?
they just throw in more crap to fill the time inbetween the fighting scenes.

Why not sooner than 10 years?

Read the Parable of the Cave in the Republic.

You have no clue how horrible that movie is until you study philosophy.

Given how disappointing Reloaded and Revloutions were...My prayers are that people will forget about the series in 10 years or so.

I don't really care for the storyline at all. The only reason I watch the Matrix movies is for the kick ass fight scenes. You don't get much better than that. (And no, Equilibrium didn't come close. Although it was respectable.)

The first Matrix was stunning because it showed what could be done on a small budget.

The new ones are just really, really, really bad rip offs of Plato's Parable of the Cave.

The Matrix has a very confusing storyline. But so confusing it was good. Yet, I didn't really care for Revolutions much. I probably won't get it. Reloaded was okay...could have been better, but it was good.

I liked this movie! I thought it answered a lot of questions, even though it doesn't exactly hand-feed them to the audience. The fight at the end in kick-ass as is the soundtrack.

EDIT: WHOA... can't spell and use vicodin at the same time...

I just sold my Reloaded DVD, and I do not intend on buying this DVD. When you put a turkey in the oven, and you leave it in for too short, and then throw it in again and try to cook it longer, you realize...It's still a piece of shit turkey that you ruined.

HEY! Atleast I made a rainbow for Neo XD

Most of you are right, it wasn't that great but even still it was a good movie worth watching. The battle scenes beteen Neo and Smith was greatly done and the battle in Zion (is that the name of the city?) was great. But sadly the ending seemed a little rushed to me.

I didn't like it at all.
It didn't explain much at all, and it didn't tie up much.
The most obvious example would be not going any deeper into who/what the architect is and what he does exactly.
And the ending scene just sucked ass so much I was about to kill my ps2.
he actually makes a few good points. sadly.

Spoiler:
What was the deal with the little girl, Sati, or whatever? What is she supposed to be?

Spoiler:
Sati is the last exile. If you watch the Animatrix, she was the last machine that was actually born out of true love, without a purpose. She serves to show that the times were changing and she needed to be saved, which is why her parents were so determined to get her into the matrix, instead of letting her get deleted in the machine world. But of course, if you read the link a few posts above...that pretty much explains everything

Check this thing out

Helped me understand some of the other layers of this.

Awesome trilogy btw. Kind of makes me sad that it's done.
