OK, that would make more sense, I tried to look for the edit button, but i couldnt see it, and I just assumed that it logs u in everytime u post, so sry.
heres exactly what it says. Now I have this problem in several rooms. I have managed to solve getting the error by going to a different room and deleteing all the entries into the "More" tab.. I need to link a couple of rooms together through staircases, and when I change the staircase #'s, nothing happens till I try and save the room. Then it tells me that there is "not enough room for room header". Do u have any idea how irritating this is? I was planning to release it this weekend, cause I would have been done tonight, but i gotta get this dumb thing working.
THX.
EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: Yah, thats right.
Anyways, dont worry about it, I went to an older version where I only had to fix up about 2-3 hours work, but now I got the whole stupid header thing under control . |

But I see you aren't logged in ... you can't edit posts when not logged in, so try the "Login" link at the top
There's a reason double posting isn't allowed, and it's not so people create second accounts to get around it |

It's called EDIT. You click the button and then you can change your last post so you don't have to complain about not being able to post 2 times in a row... speaking of which... why did you make an extra post just to say that?
EDIT: Oh lookie! The button worked for me! It probably would work for you, too. |

you can always edit post, no need for a new account.
I have worked on it for longer-than-you-think-on-this-issue,
getting pissed is not going to get you anywhere.
As for the headers i'm already looking into the layout of all those dungeon data in a hex editor, i've already found one of the places which HM doesn't edit - entrance blocksets - and i will find more as i look into the data.
Anyway... you better just post what the problem is, i might be able to help.
Just by saying "OMFG ROOM HEADER NOT WORKING" is not quite detailed enough. You trying to add holes/stairs (and HM says not enough space) or you trying to change the blockset/enemy pal/palette and HM says the room header is reused and you want to edit only that one? |

But I have deleted headers before to make room for other rooms, but it always seemed random which ones I could delete. |

That's something which you can't do anything about atm.
unless of course you know how the rom works and how to re-make those headers to be used with different sets of rooms.
i love to see somebody put up the offsets for the Zelda 3 rom though. |
