Bushido Blade a button masher?!?!?!?!?! I'm a cronicly hardcore button masher, and that's the only one I never button mash! Sure you could get lucky, but that's just crazy talk. |

Vagrant Story, Threads of Fate, Front Mission series are all RPGs
As for a games that aren't RPGs Ehergeiz DID have an RPG mode, but it was just a Diablo rip off. But for the most part it was just a fighter game with Square characters
Einhander was a shooter that was very similar to Sol Feace for the Sega Genesis/Sega CD. The thing that was really cool was that it was fully 3D and had some really cool gameplay.
Tobal 1 and 2 are fighters though they had an adventure mode like Ehergeiz, though it didn't play like Diablo. It was more like the Bouncer.
The Bouncer was a Beat-em up, with RPG elements such as leveling up.
Chocobo Racing is just a racing game like Super Mario Kart, but there are TONS of character.
Bushido Blade series is a fighter game series like Virtua Fighter, it is a button masher. I didn't like it though.
As for the other games, I don't know much about them. |

You also forgot Vagrant Story (PSX), a hack 'n' slay with some RPG elements; despite its average GFX I really like it. It has agood atmosphere, challenging bosses and a neat combo system. I'm playing it atm, but saw the game over logo quite often; the weapons have masses of attributes and affinities and need to be prepared well when encountering bosses. The music and game-play are ass-kicking for me ... if you like fumbling hours of optimizing your weapon(s) and fighting hard enemies |

You guys forgot Rad Racer 2. Square published this sequel actually (not Nintendo), but I didn't think it was as good as the original. |

That Driving emotion S game also had this annoying Blurring effect and also the camera jerked whenever you breaked. |

Squaresoft made Threads of Fate (PSX), and I'm not sure what kind of game it is, actually. It's got elements of both an RPG and a fighting game, sorta like Kingdom Hearts - except you only control one character throughout the whole game, there's no "party" to speak of.
So if that winds up qualifying as an RPG, then I'm out of ideas. |

Square also made All-Star Professional Wrestling I, II, and III for the PlayStation 2. They're not very known in North America though... |

Nope, but hey, the RPGs that they have made are kickass. Square/Enix wouldn't be Square without the Final Fantasy series. |

Eh, I didn't know why Squaresoft became Square Enix, I don't even know what Enix is . Besides that, I didn't know such games existed that weren't RPG made by Square Enix.
When I first read this thread, I was thinking "I don't think they've even made any non-RPG's". I guess you can consider some not RPG's. I kinda thought The Bouncer was an RPG type game. Since you could play out of 3 characters roles to piece together a whole story. |

Yeah, I was going to mention that 3D Worldrunner game too (since I tried the ROM last year ), and Rad Racer ...
There's also Hanjuku Hero, which seems to be some sort of realtime strategy game where you conquer castles (it's all in Japanese ) ... and the music in it was made by Nobuo Uematsu, just like Final Fantasy
And another is King's Knight ...
But that's all on the NES
As for Enix, I had Illusion of Gaia on the SNES, but that can be counted as a RPG ... but I know for sure they've done more than just the Dragon Quest (Warrior) series and other random RPG's |

There is Front Mission 3... But now that I think of it, you could class it as an RPG...
Considering it's basically tactics with robots... Bah, I'll shut up now... |
