Zap looked over the battlefield from his customized booth. It seemed that Teddylot's new fellow moderator wasn't scared to go directly toward a fighter's weak spot. Of course, it was fairly obvious. Teddylot, being an old hand at sim-battling, was used to dodging and deflecting such low-brow tactics, but Zap had tampered with his bear's weapon of choice (which has yet to reveal itself) during their recent two-week hiatus. This would make Teddylot more formidable against fire ... and in general, as well.

The only problem was ... with the upsurge in duties and through a ton of catching up to do on paper work ... he had forgotten to tell him about the improvement.

----------

Teddylot was still kneeling at the unfluffed body of his fellow soldier when he looked up to see William charging at him with the flamethrower. His opponent was already too dangerously close for the teddy bear to successfully dodge it without taking on some major damage. Thus, Teddylot did the first thing that came to his mind. He broke out his weapon of choice, his staff. He began to spin it around with both hands as fast as they could handle the weapon. It deflected the attack, but his wooden staff wouldn't be able to hold out for long.

Teddylot slowly got up to his feet and kicked his stuffed tiger out of the line of fire. He now had the ability to back up, but he was still a tad worried with the fire getting ever closer to his hands. His fierce staff-handling looked like they eventually paid off when the fire began to repel before even hitting the weapon ... like there was a wind emitting from the weapon. After the fire from the flamethrower began to repel further and further from the staff, Teddylot finally figured out what was going on.

The wily teddy firmly gripped his spear with both of his paws and brought it slamming to the ground. To everyone's surprise (including, somewhat, his own,) the staff let out an immensely strong wind force. Strong enough to send anybody across the arena, hurling straight towards another, defending, opponent.

To top off the unexpected move with a nice combo, Teddylot twirled his staff around his arm a few times which sent out a sort of high speed, highly accurate Pin Missile attack; thanks to the staff's original magical and technical property. The pins were headed straight toward William's flamethrowers' gas tank. If everything hit according to plan ... sparks would certainly fly.

Zap continued to look down on the battle, unable to repress a broad grin from ear to ear. The new technology's test run was a success ... and now, he could finally get to work on a little project of his own.

He looked down at his watch and found that refereeing was needed all around the different arenas. Zap took up his backpack, which was slung over a chair, shouldered it, then made his way out of the booth, ruffling up his hair before closing the door behind him.

Not expecting the blast of the bunker to be so huge, Grey was thrown to the ground by the explosion and rolled along the marble floor as the discarded stuffed animal guns began to fire recklessly at him. In situations like this, there really was only one thing a good psychic could do.

Grey: "PK Shield Omega!!!"

As the gun barrels flashed, Grey raised his arms in front of his face, and swung them outward, creating the trademark Psychic Power Shield that would defend users against even the hardiest of Pokey's attacks. Golden light flashed before him as bullet after bullet ricocheted off of the shield, heading in complementary angles away from the teenager. Squeezing his eyes shut tightly, Grey knew that every last ounce of his concentration was necessary even to keep this thing up, never mind withstand a barrage of machine gun fire. As William was more or less far away from him at this point, there really wasn't much point to trying to avoid that flamethrower.

"Then.... Don't.... Charge!"

William: "Always when I am charging. ALWAYS!"

William put the charge in the handle of the sword, the handle glowing green for the time being. William stashed his sword behind him and started to run away from where he was. Just as he was out of the circle on the ground, the ground raced upwards where he was. He tripped for the fact that his left leg was still on the outcropping while his right leg was out of it.

He fell a good distance, flipping on the way down until he fell face first into the ground. He pushed himself up from the ground and brushed off all the dust and such...

...then he noticed Teddylot's bunker explode.

A bullet whizzed past his head, one of the guns going off from the explosion. William thought that this would be the best time to use a good weapon.

He reached behind him and pulled out a Sinurator, a flamethrower from the war between the SHC and the Tediz. He knew that a stuffed toy would easily be no match against fire.

He ran towards the bunker, hand on the trigger, moving the flame all around the bunker area, hoping to catch something on fire, whether alive or dead.

Teddylot was just about to put to a stopper on Grey's time-bomb attack when a loud bang went off right next to him. The bear's mini-cigar dropped to the ground, and his World War II helmet slid over his eyes.

Teddylot: Which one of you sorry excuses for stuffed toys opened fire without my saying so?

Silence.

Teddylot let out a loud "AHA" then picked up his stuffed tiger, who was guarding the flank, by the scruff of his neck. An old Valentine's day present, the tiger had a heart on his back and a heart for a nose. He sagged down as Teddylot held him up to eye level, and still remained silent.

Teddylot: It was you wasn't it? Wasn't it? ... Answer me, tigger, or I'll make sure you're treasoned.

Although the thought of being treasoned most likely daunted on the stuffed toy, it was spared from comment by the explosion of their bunker. Sand, plush toys, helmets, and idiot-proof rifles flew through the air scattering themselves across the arena. The guns rattled off their bullets in every direction as they fell to the ground, and mixed in the raining sand. Teddylot plopped on the ground in the middle of the arena, surrounded by fluff, sand, and casualties. He was unhurt, but dazed and surely broken hearted/minded because of what destruction had left in its wake. His stuffed tiger fell to the ground next to him, but he wasn't so lucky.

Teddylot: ... C-Corporal ... Tigger ... I'm so sorry ... kiddo.

Grey: "Right, this isn't really gonna work out too well..."

He snapped his fingers, and instantly the ground that formed his engravings jutted upward, becoming nothing more than flat marble once again.

"Not really worth using at this point. I've got bigger fish to fry."

He DID, however, saunter over to the sandbagged bunker, clap his hands together, and lay them on the bunker, causing it to turn into a Gambit-style explosive, which he casually walked away from. As he walked, he clapped his hands together again and kneeled down, pressing them on the ground and causing an electric shock to run through the ground and encircle William. Seconds later, the electric ring sank into the ground and gave way to a rather large marble outcropping that jutted upward from the ground, which happened to be conveniently where William was standing.

"God bless you, Edward."

"Now this should be intertaining; a stuff toy against two fighters... I wonder who will win..." And I wonder when Grey and William will get back to their original battle against eachother... Forte was amused, having a bucket of cyber popcorn in his lap, munching away. These food chips are as idicting as the dark chips during the Nebula reign 6 years ago... Forte thought to himself, munching on more cyber popcorn, Maybe I should sic Gospel on that stuff toy, he could use a new chew toy... I'll wait first.

Teddylot: Pfft ... you guys and your charging moves. Honestly ...

Teddylot squated down in the middle of Grey's little ... contraption ... UFO landing strip ... thinger ..., then began to set himself up a World War II style bunker right in the middle of it (hopefully disrupting Grey's "cosmic forces," or whatnot, in the meantime.) Although the bunker was poorly positioned, it was well armed with Teddylot's relentless stuffed troops who came out from his pocket to lend him a hand. Each was equipped with a rifle (with the safety on of course) and sported one of those brilliant helmets. One could tell that Teddylot was the leader for from his mouth drooped an unlit mini-cigar.

The wily teddy bear and his troops were ready for action.

Teddylot: Bring it on, you two Girl Scouts!

William: "...ummm... oops..."

William was stunned by his own attack now, vurnerable for a second.

Unfortunatly, the ball slammed into William, pinning him into the wall. He had his gut sucked in, a spike barely missing his stomach. He stood there, pinned to the wall by his coat.

William: "Great... first the shock, then the plumbing, then my coat... what next?"

William slid his arms out of the coat and sidestepped out of the space between the wall and ball. He was upset now that he had to fix some things in the arena, but also he was upset because he had to fix his coat too... and he couldn't sew.

William ran over to a clean section of the arena that was unscarred from the action. He put his sword in front of him, the point facing up. The tip started glowing a green color, the light then spreading to the bottom of the sword. The sword was all green, but unfortunatly, not complete.

This move required a little time to charge... so he was kind of vurnerable for the moment...

"I have a better idea for Teddylot... but I'd disgress... Don't want the audience to panic in fear of my pet coming here to the arena..." Forte said to himself. Besides, I'll wait and see what Grey has in store for the interupter... then maybe I'll sic Gospel on that fluffy teddy bear toy. And that Ziff character, he reminds me of someone.... but who... hmmm... Forte looked over at Ziff, and began thinking in depth.

Grey: "Yeah, well so am I....."

Freshly electrocuted and with a set of rattled teeth, Grey grinned up to his gigantic friend in the stands, and continued fighting.

"......And I need to keep my reputation intact!"

His clothes singed and his pride slightly wounded, Grey turned his attention to Teddylot, his new target.

"Let's start the ass-kicking with you!"

Grey clapped his hands together, and slammed them on the ground, as a gigantic engravement was made in the dirt that formed three large, archaic symbols. The first was simply a pair of lines, joined together at their tips to form a 90 degree angle. The second, an oval-like trench that encircled Teddylot, forming a sort of dry moat around him. The third seemed to be an exact clone of the first symbol....

"Hehehehe......"

Ziff appeared from practical nothingness

"LOCAL MOD!?" he roared. "LOCAL MOD IS FOR THE WEAK! With my IMMENSE power I control all the forums! For I am the FULL MOD!"

Ziff, realizing the stupid danger he just put himself in with his unprovoked entrance changed into an elephantine form waiting for someone to try to breach his now mighty defence. Entranced by the fighting takes his seat in the stands and patiently watches, laughing at how Grey's teeth chattered with the excess amperage in his blood

The Black Shadow flicked his hand in front of him, and shortly afterward, a barrier formed around the audience, that will protect them from any mis-fired attacks and stuff. "Normally I wouldn't do this but I'm feeling generous..." The Navi beckons Grey and William to continue battle, hoping there won't be anymore short interuptions.

As soon as Teddylot received hint of the electrical attack, he immediately let go of his temporary weapon. The attack still connected with the hose's nozzle in midair, but the move did not react in the way William had probably expected it. The fire hose fell to the arena ground releasing some of the electrical energy into it, taking on the basic properties of lightning. The attack traveled through the ground endangering all the fighters, who were currently in contact with the ground.

Luckily for Teddylot, however, he remembered some of the useful tips he had picked up from his many adventures in the forests and mountains of New Mexico, where thunderstorms were likely. The bear had already bent his knees, stood on his tiptoes, put his heels together, put his elbows on his knees, and put his wrists together. To the average eye, this was a silly little pose, but it actually ended up saving the bear from a lot of damage. Since electricity always travels through the shortest route, it went through his heels then back into the ground; and if that hadn't worked, through his knees and upper arms. If it had gone through his chest ... well, that would've been bad.

As for the rest of the electrical attack which followed the hose all the way to hydrant. It all ended up destroying the Sim-Battle Arena's plumbing ... Good job William!!!

OoC: Goodness, I hoped that fell through the way I wanted it to.

But William's move completely forgot about Grey, who clapped his hands together, and drew from the ground a large hammer, which he used to slam his thought bubble, now filled with spikes, straight at William.

Grey: "Got you!"

As the ball flew at William, Grey saluted to the crowd, and a HUGE cheer came from them.

Forte was standing up one seat away from where William landed and jumped away from. "Hope the fight will continue here..." The NetNavi said to himself before he opened up an MP3 file of "One Winged Angel - Rap Remix" and sat back down before removing his helmet, and putting on headphones so the music wouldn't interupt the battle.

William was now playing his Nintendo DS, still awaiting some sort of move. He stopped playing for a second and looked up, seeing water come crashing down towards him. He wasted no time. He pulled from his sack a shovel. He quickly started digging up to the surface. However, just as he broke from the surface, the water gushed out and pushed him high into the air. The water's force was still powerful enough to where William was suspended in the air. Pretty strong fire hose, to say the least...

William quickly thought of a way to get back at Teddylot for that move, which didn't take too long. He took his hand and put it in the water spout and focused all his energy to his hand. A electric shock emitted from his hand, electrifying the water all the way back to the fire hose. He was hoping to shock Teddylot with this.

He then forced himself into a backflip to get out of the water spout. He landed on the first row of seats in the stands. He looked back behind him and saw he landed close to some of the people in the stands, waved, and jumped back into the edge of the arena.

"When will a real move be made..." The Black Shadow muttered to himself, bored from the waiting, watching the stuff toy try and flood out William. The Navi was pretty sure the audience felt the same way he does. He looked around at the people in the stands, getting some stares from them, before turning his attention back at the fight between William and Grey.

Zap looked down upon the slow-moving battle from his priority seat in his custom moderator box. He had just popped himself a good ol' Top Secret bag of popcorn and plopped down into a comfortable armchair when he noticed that the focal point of the battle ... was ... missing ... dun dun dun.

Zap: Honestly ... *sigh* Where has that teddy bear gone off to now?

Zap rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming along.

----------

Of course, Teddylot was never one to miss a cue. The teddy dashed inside the arena, welcomed by a roar of excitement coming from stadium fans. This time, however, he sported a genuinely fake fire fighter's helmet; in his hands, he was dragging a fire hose, which was attached to the hydrant just outside the arena; and to top it all off, a cute, little, Dalmatian plush toy stuck out from his pocket.

He waved to Grey, signaling him to stay chill for a few moments, then tugged all of his equipment toward the hole William had dug to go underground. He placed the nozzle of the fire hose inside the hole, then released the pressurized water.

Teddylot: That should flood the staller out.

William, underground, waited and waited and waited for a move...

Unfortunately, nothing was going down... so William had to send something up to get something down there.

He pulled from his sack a Bob-omb. He turned the knob on the back and placed it in front of him. It started walking along the dirt and when it reached the slope, it started climbing it, going up until it popped out of the hole. It then simply walked along until it went about a foot. Then...

Everyone thought it was going to explode. It didn't... it just stood there doing nothing.

William was sitting in his nice little cavern setting, a light from a candle allowing him to see the magazine in his hands. He turned the page, awaiting for some sort of sign to do something...

The Black Shadow reappears in a shower of pixels. The spectators look at him, and sees that he came out from a computer that suddenly appeared at the entrance. He walks over, past a few people in the stands until he got to the front rows, and grabbed a seat away from the others. The Navi's body flares up in a dark aura, analyzing the battle going on so far. William has an advantage when he's underground, but Grey... hmm, he's up to something, Forte mentally says to himself.
