Yes, a much better and accurate IPS patcher is Lunar IPS. Its on Zophar's Domain under utilities-->Game modification-->Pacthers. look around there, Zopar's domain is www.zophar.net if you didn't know. |

*anime fall* uh...it worked for me, unless i just acciendtly used the hacked rom...i used snes tool, but.....i most likely did it wrong. Are there any better patching utilities out there? |

Did this hack work for any one else? It's having the same problem as before. The only thing different is now instead of bieng 267kb, it's now the original 256kb. And the text is still the same. |

ok the changes in the game are mainly the text and the storyline, the graphics are SLIGHTLY changed (like color and stuff) and the overworld is pretty much the same.

The patch was unlocked, so I go and take a look and what do ya know? The patch corrupted something, cause all of the graphics are messed up. And they don'trun in any emulators. What I can make out though, nothing looks changed. The dialouge is all the same,as are the levels. Try making another patch. |

Like is the overworld changed, or the dungions are different. |

Something's wrong with the patch. When I try to play the ROM it gives an "error opening the file" message in FCEUXD and an "unsupported file" message when I try to run it in NNNesterJ, both of which are very compatable with ROMs, so something went wrong in the patch creation, or the FF1 ROM you used as the "original" was modified, looked like a really funny hack too. |

WEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! I finally did it!! My first actual successful rom hack. There's just 2 problems...after you close the menu the screen flashes diff. colors and the end credits are messed up a bit, but the game is playable! Have fun, and you can see some screenshots here
