Has anyone read the "Sams Teach Yourself....in x hours/days" books? Theyre really good at showing newbies about anything. They taught me the fundamentals of C easily. If anyone wants to write up their own ASM 65c816 tutorial, write it up in the style of that book.
I don't know ASM, but I DO now that the Sams Teach Yourself books are very good at teaching newbs. They don't have a book about 65c816 ASM, but if they did, I would buy it. |

Even though no n00b has ever actually read a sticky, you can at least link to it when they complain and that way they have to stop complaining.
In fact, since I almost know ASM, I think I'll go get on that topic right now. I mean, it might not end up stickyworthy, but I might as well give it a shot. |

Please don't do that. Unless you have a question that only one person can possibly answer, create a thread about it. If you think everyone would benefit from learning what you learn, create a thread about it. |

These gotta help. ASM is a very hard and advanced language. It is way harder than C, Perl, HTML.

This is the fourth time I say this... Search for "65c816 asm tutorial" or something on Google. If you don't get any good results, remove the c between the 5 and the 8. |

That much is obvious.
Please do not post if your only response will be something unhelpful.

Make it so when you collect a fifth dragon coin you lose a life instead of earning one? And is it possible to make it so you don't get points when you collect them? |
