You can watch full episodes of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. Super Show, and some other old cartoons on http://yahooligans.yahoo.com/content/tv/
The episodes are splitted to 2-3 parts but are full... there's always a commercial at the beginning

It's been out on dvd. I have the first two volumes already. Not sure if the third one is out yet or not.

By the way, *humps this thread*

Ashley: That's not the show that'll be on the DVD. The Mario cartoons pretty much revolved around the universe created by SMB/SMB2, with Bowser as the main bad guy; however, a *lot* of the items/enemies were from SMB2; for example, Bowser used a Magic Potion to escape frequently.

I think Zelda was based a lot more on Adventure of Link, surprisingly.

I have an episode on tape somewhere, probably lost somewhere but it was one where elvis' blue swede shoes were on it, and I cant really remember anything more about it, but I remember elvis's shoes..

Oh yes

I am very excited about this. I have an old tape somewhere (probably dead by now.. my old Sonic eps died ) of an ep involving Yoshi and some caveman, and half an ep where the Princess gets captured. But man I remember watching that show so much when I was really little, I loved it. I've got to get this.

I don't think I'd care for the Zelda cartoon, if I would have grown up with it then maybe ...

The Mario Show rocked though, I'd definitely like to see that again.

That's some nice news.

But still, the old Megaman anime would rock also.

According to Press the Buttons:
"Hey paisanos! It's The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!" Animated News has a report stating that the complete series of the 1989-90 cartoon/live action programs The Super Mario Bros. Super Show and Friday special The Legend of Zelda are headed to DVD this coming October in 4-volume and 3-volume sets respectively. A "best of" Super Mario DVD has been available for some time, but die-hard fans out there can now finish off their collections.

Like most young Nintendo fans of the era, I was hooked on these cartoons when they originally aired (despite the corny live action Mario and Luigi segments and off-model animation). My family had a satellite dish at the time and every Sunday afternoon when the show's syndicator would air the week's episodes for the affiliates to record in a three hour block I'd plop myself down in front of the TV and watch. Good times. I can't say that I'll be picking up these DVDs, but it's good to know that the shows will be available for today's young fans."

Must Buy DVD's
