Sorry, I messed that up. The link to the patch doesn't work.
Also, Bowser Town 1 doesn't come up. When I play it, the Mario Start comes up, and it freezes. What's going on?

Not much, but some are changed on "magical terms". This hack is Episode one of my SMU series. Super Mario Universe 2 - The Millennium Project is in the demo stages somewhere on the sixth or lower pages of this thread (the full version being worked on) and the final episode of SMU is at the bottom of this thread's page, still in its introductory stages, which I'm only working the maps for it (and will request some good help from the most talented SMW hackers and ASM experts in a few weeks tops).

The link somehow no longer works... you'll just have to hope someone else have grabbed the hack before this happened. Whenever I make an IPS file of my hack, it is totaly %#^@ed up for everyone else except me. So... I don't know.

edit your hack so all levels without a door/pipe in a 'exit to level' screen will have the exit to level screen deleted.

That shouldn't be an issue. My hack does this often (using the Random Exit block, you define the exits on the next 3 screens), and it runs fine. Your ROM may be corrupt. The game doesn't even check each screen to see if it has an 'exit-enabled' object on it. It just looks up the current screen in the exit tables when you activate an exit. (Hell, it doesn't even clear the exit table... if you start in a level with an exit on screen 3, and exit to another level that doesn't, there will still be an exit on screen 3, until you exit to a level with a different exit there.)

I think Kei may still have my ROM I sent to get a working IPS file... I'm already working on the sequel to SMU, so... I'll think about it.

If that was the problem BTW... well it works for me since I have the original file... meh.

Hmmm... my hack causing problems.. shouldn't happen... have you guys checked and see if the ROM you applied the IPS file to was *CLEAN* and not used for another kind of hack you may be working on?

I've had that same problem with Bowser Isle 1 but in castle 1 I automatically die when I enter the level because of the white BG.

Yup. Same thing happened to me. It happened on the World 1 castle too, so there was no way for me to advance to World 2. So I deleted the hack, never did bother to report the bug (?) though.


The 'start' problem happens on bowser isle 1 and the white BG happens on castle 1, the undernet,(yes, i did edit the OW to allow me to skip the broken levels) AND also it turns white on the Yami-Bokura Castle after the yoshi part...

Hmm... I sent my ROM to someone else so they could create an IPS patch for me since it someone screws it up on my end.... there's no way it could screw up on your end unless you've done something to it, otherwise...

I have no idea... all I can say is it works for some, not for others... wait, did that make sense? Oh well...
