The first season of Digimon was the only good one. Nuff' said.

However, I adored the Digimon movie. Something about it just kept me so attached I couldn't help myself. I really wish I could find the DVD so I could buy it and watch it 24/7, perferably in Dual Region 3, but it doesn't really matter. What really got me though, was the artwork they did for the movie; if they did more animes in that style then I'm sure even more people would be into anime.

Anyway, I did enjoy the movie, and it really helped bring season one to a close for me. I felt complete after it, especially after seeing the rest of the seasons, they were horrid.

Yeah, I watched it too they day it came out in theatre. It came out before the episode where Veemon armor digivolves with the crest of friendship in season 2. I forgot the name because I haven't watched Digimon since Season 3 ended about 3 years ago. I saw season 4 but didn't like it so I stopped watching Digimon completly. As for the movie, I have it on VHS but can't watch it right now because I don't have a working VCR.

I used to be a huge Digimon fan when the sereis frist came on Fox Kids. Then after season 2 it really went downhill. I never watched season 3 but I got kinda back into during Frontier. The movie was good, but I wish they would realase the Frontier movie here in america.

I used to be a big Digimon nut back before Season 03. I saw the first movie in theatres and I actually got my gf to see it with me (and I was 18 so we stood out like a sore thumb). Season 1 was the best in my opinion. Everything after Etemon just totally ruled. But I felt like Season 2 pretty much demolished all the cool backstory that Season 1 built upon (like they destroyed what it meant to really be a digidestined).

Anyways, only thing that bothers me about the American release of the movie is that they cut out everything about how they got the Golden eggs that were used to make Angemon and Angewomon go Mega.

I've only seen digimon dubbed. I am kindof curious how it was subbed. I might just get a couple eps to see the difference.

I actually got into anime because of this series, back when Digimon Adventures (the first season) was on Amercian TV, and I loved it. I watched the first 3 seasons happily on TV.

Then I found Digimon 02 on the 'Net, and have hated dubbed anime ever since.

I have seen the first 4 Digimon movies subtitled, but lost them to a computer crash a couple years ago.

that was the last season of digimon aired in the States. i'd say it was alright although the ending was kind of blah. I liked the end of the 2nd season (when it still had kari).

anyways, I can't find too much english info on the series about the actual japanese release of the series. I wonder what animenfo has to say about the series...

Yeah this place doesnt know anything

The last Season I saw was the one where they had NO Digimon. They had some sort of thing that let them fuse with Digimon Spirits. It was pretty cool. It kept me hooked for a while but I just slowly stopped watching it.

They're actually making a new one, though. Digimon Chronicles, or something along those lines. Or WERE making it, anyway. Haven't heard anything about it in a fair while, and GameFAQs is generally pretty knowledgeable about this stuff. Definitely better than here, anyway.

Yeah, I said it.

Did Digimon finally get cancelled? I havnt seen anything on it for a long time.

The last season was 4 i think. It was really retarded though. I liked season 2, but I think season 3 was the best. I wish they had continued season 3 with season 4. Kindof pisses me off. haha

Yea, i remember waking up in the morning, and rushing down to the store to buy digimon the movie. haha. That was when I was really into it.

so, i'm guessing you saw the american version of the movie where they took three movies and combined them into one? i'd like to see the originals but no clue where to find them...

anyways, the american version is alright...just wish they'd just released the movies by themselves instead of one hash...
