Yes, I do plan on adding enemy support in the future. I have found where the game stores the data, but it is stored differently than other data. I'll have to mess around with it to see exactly how it all works before I can add it to the editor, I think they are stored with the same method as items are stored, and if so, I'll be able to implement both features more easily. I also plan on adding level style choosing, but that isn't nearly as important as other things.

Thanks for your interest in the editor.

My brother Sabiazoth is also a big fan of this game too, so when I told him there's an editor out now, he couldn't belive it until I showed him this thread. He's very happy, I just wanted to let you know.

now, about this update, it's a good thing in my book. And tomorrow another update? That's cool too. Keep up the good work King_Killa. *Downloads*

hey, frequent updates is a good thing. And it isn't like I am releasing just stupid little changes that don't mean anything. I just have too much time to work on it. (which is a good thing, mind you)

Edit: Version 2.0 will be released tomorrow. This version will include editing of Dana, Key, and Door locations. in levels 1-48 and Hidden.

NEW IN VERSION 1.2:
There was a bug where if you had 4 breakable blocks in a row (in certain spots) the entire level would be shifter one block to the left. This is fixed.

Download 1.2 here: http://www.neohjuggalos.com/skedit1.2.zip

Oh, btw. Thank you all for all the support.

Really? You put Solomon's Key hacking on the map with this editor. Thanks for the quick update too, btw.

yeah, I really wasn't expecting any hype from this. I'm glad to see people are using it though.

Some bad news though, due to my parents being utterly retarded, I have to be off the computer each night by midnight, and I also got a job today, so I will be working on this a little less. (for this release I spent about 4 hours in one day) I doubt I will be able to dedicate that kind of time to it anymore, so releases will be a little more spread out.

VERSION 1.1 RELEASED - http://www.neohjuggalos.com/skedit1.1.zip
-------------------------------

NEW IN VERSION 1.1:

I noticed there was a bug that was messing up blocks in certain situations, so I fixed that.
I spent a few hours finding all the offsets for Dana, the Key, and the Door for each level (every level is a different length, so it made it more difficult to know where one started and one ended).

You cannot edit the location yet, but the editor doesn't let you cover them up, so you can plan your levels out a little more, with less bugs.

I will be working on allowing you to move where dana, the key, and the door on later in the week.

The Arcade version of this was such a big hit in most countrys, that when it was released multi-platform the cost was skyrocketed to ensure they got as much money possible. This editor is awsome and I cant wait for further features!

Well, put it this way Kefka...I'm old enough to pay my rent & pay my bills on my own. I'll give you a hint though, I was 12 when it was released for Nes.

I worked my ass off delivering newspapers to buy this when it first came out, since I spent alotta quarters on the arcade version.

King_Killa: I'll be waiting for the next update, good freakin work with this editor.

well, I'm not sure if I'll be making a hack or not. sound slike a good idea, but I'm not really too creative. We'll see how it goes.

One thing I'd like to add is starting location, key location, and door location. I'll be working on this later in the week.

Anyway, it is good that you made a very user friendly editor. Since you made the editor, do you plan to have a level hack also? I mean, you must know the game inside out by now.

Ya know something King_Killa, looking back to the 80's I can't belive I spent $75 on this game.

I like this editor, it's very easy to use. Click here, click there, save & your done. Here's a pic of my test level.

I have made 2 solomon's key level editors. One is written in PHP, and JavaScript, available to use online. (you download an IPS patch when you're done)

It is available here: http://www.neohjuggalos.com/key/

I actually released that about a year ago, but got many complaints about an online editor being stupid or whatever, so due to requests, I made an EXE of it as well. This is the first it has been released.
