"Cosmos (by Radish Works)" is a much better 3D game making program than "3D Game Studio", .... much better.

If you really want to make something good, it's better to code it from scratch.

Oh well, it's been over a month since you posted the thread firemaker. So how about telling us how your game is going? You know if you really want to grow interest, the best thing to do is say how it's going...

Awhile back I did that with 3D Game Studio A5, in my opinion, Best thing I ever did, but now im using Pure C++ for anything i do, and now I dont have 3D game studio anymore

I download them and find cracks for them, yes I know it's not right, but I don't have the money.

yes, but I didnt see him say he was using a 3D game Making program, and besides that there are none that are free.... so creating a whole engine in C++ does take awhile but its worth it.

Create a whole Engine? Wouldn't a 3D Game Making program do that for you, and all you'd have to do is insert scripts to control the characters and some other objects?

Just something, you will gain tons more respect if you talk with correct grammar .

So, how much C++ do you know? What will you be using for the graphics? What are these "friends" of yours going to do?

And the whole screenshot thing is a problem as well. People should learn that games should only be announced when there's something to show, but sometimes people are so happy that they have a game planned that they just have to go and tell people.

one thing before you can even get a screen shot u need the game engine made. and trust me that is hard but i DONT GIVE UP ill do what ever it takes

Ok!

It's also 'caused because people like to get attention. To get comments like "WOW, OMG AMAZING ATTEMPT, I WANT THIS" etc. and well, if that's your only motivation to announce a new game...

I must admit I've seen a fair load of homebrew 3D games announced...
But saw nothing finished or downloadable, let alone screenshots.

At first I wasn't going to touch this thread, but... ugh...

firemaker, it sounds like a really big pipedream to me. Making a "big 3D Zelda-esque" title takes a lot of work. It doesn't sound like you have a decent group together or anything ("some friends" really doesn't say much), and if you don't have anything to show right now... it's hard to believe that it is even going to happen.

"And we also just found wat i would call a port. it mans we will be able to create ps2 gamecube and Xbox version."

What are you talking about?!? How do you plan on making a PS2, GameCube, AND XBOX version of this supposed future title of yours? It doesn't really make sense to me.

i'd reccomend Game maker. it is hard at first but u get used to it. and it has its own language. i like it because it gives you more freedom to make watever game u want.

C++ is a programming language, not something you can buy at a store. However, you could do a game using MFC (Visual C++), which would require Visual Studio, and is not free.
